The present owners have owned this motel for several years and are in the process of renovating the rooms with new décor and upgraded bathrooms. All the beds on the property are NEW--this is a big improvement and much needed from my last stay here in 2010. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and this is reflected among the... More

This was a perfect stop on our tour of the northeast. My boyfriend and I stayed just one night but could have stayed many more. The staff welcomed us and really helped us find the best of the area (it's in a perfect location to go north to Kennebunk Port or south to Ogunquit in just 10-15 minutes). The room... More

My husband and I have stayed several times and love The Coast Village Inn in Wells, Maine! The owners, John & Cynthia are so kind and treat you like you are a part of their family. The Pineapple King suite is spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and seating area that allows you to feel right at home. We... More

Very nice little motel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Beds were comfortable. Room was simple but that's all I needed. Liked that it had a mini fridge, that was helpful. They also had free coffee in the main office in the morning. Would stay there again for sure.

My husband and I have stayed at the Coast Village in each time we've been to Wells. The first few times we stayed in one of their overnight cottages. Not super luxurious but comfy and private. Really our only complaint was about the water temperature in the shower. One minute scalding the next second freezing. On our most recent stay... More

We stayed at The Coast village Inn and Cottages this past weekend, when visiting family in the area. The room was fine, the bed comfortable, the AC great, the hot water excellent and the coffee in the lobby was hot and fresh. The only lacking thing was no breakfast bar but so what. we knew this and bought some donuts... More

Nice clean motel in a great location. We were the first to stay for the season and the room was very clean with no musty smell. Owners are on the property and are very hands on and friendly. Will not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Good place to stay. Price was very reasonable and John, the owner/host was such a nice man. He made sure we were taken care of. He even upgraded our room since the original room we were booked for was having some changes made. The room did not come with a coffee maker, but when we expressed how we like our... More

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of our property. We are more than happy when we can accommodate for guests with personal requests. In order to keep our rates low we do not offer as many in room amenities (coffee pots, hair dryers, etc) but we do have them available for guests to use upon request.... More

Not the most luxurious, but I had no complaints. Everything worked, the room was large and clean, and the shower was extra large. The area is nice and quiet, except for the odd truck using its engine brakes. I would definitely stay again. A big Hannafords grocery store is right across the street.

Thank you for your review and your appreciation of its simplicity. It sounds as if you stayed in one of our single king or queen rooms with the newly renovated bathrooms (since you commented on the shower size - they can pretty much shower a small pony). They are certainly spacious and with the low step-in design it makes for... More
