This was not our first stay in Wells, but we finally decided to go there for our summer vacation. Everything was perfect. The small home was clean and we felt like home. The trolley is funny to go at the swimming pool or to the recreation park. you can't go wrong.

This was our 4th or 5th stay at Summer Village, usually in the same unit when available (there are not that many 1 bedroom unit avail). We enjoyed it as all the other time. If you usually go to a nearby motel and are tired of going back to a motel room after dinner, then you should look at this... More

This little village is in a perfect spot! About 5 minutes to Footbridge Beach.Close to plenty of restaurants. Hannaford grocery store is within 2 miles. When picking a cottage on their website, you can click on inside pictures of what the cottages look like. Our family rented 3 cottages for a weekend. Some are more modernly decorated than others, they vary... More

This is such a great spot for families. We have stayed in three different cottages...a total of four times. We are planning to head back this season. We have stayed in the mid-200s...an easy walk to either pool. In May, only the pools by the front entrance are open because they are heated and it is wonderful! There are a... More

It was a huge mistake to visit southern Maine on Labor Day weekend (we never learn) but we found a wonderful spot for families at Summer Village. Once we successfully navigated the intricacies of their web site and selected a cottage, we were very happy here. Our one bedroom cottage was spacious, very clean and well supplied with full sized... We had a great stay at our cottage. The village is great, the cottages are adorable, mostly 2 bedroom cottages with a few one bedrooms. Every cottage has a great porch and all the amenties you'd want. Having a washer/dryer while on a beach vacation was fantastic. The grounds are lovely and very safe. They have 2 family pools, each... We enjoyed our stay at Summer Village! The cottage was very clean and well appointed, with nice bedding and comfy couches, as well as everything you could need to cook in the kitchen. The playscapes and pools were great for the kids, but the water was a bit cold. Great proximity to Rt 1to visit other towns like Ogunquit and... More

We travelled from our home in Ontario to this fabulous gated community of "cottages" for our family vacation for 5 nights. Set up like a very large, lovely "campground", but with adorable so-called cottages instead of campsites. More like little bungalows - new full-size kitchens, three plasma TVs, washer/dryer, two bedrooms, full sparkling bathroom, bright sunroom, enough room to sleep... More

Stayed in a two bedroom cottage. Took advantage of preseason rates. Was able to stay just a weekend rather than a whole week. The property is full of one and two bedroom cottages all situated so that each offers privacy. The cottage was fully supplied from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedrooms. No need to bring anything other... More
