The Elmere house was a perfect place for my stay in the Wells/Oguinquit/Perkins area....just out of town it provided excellent value...allowing me to enjoy an extra lobster for diner...on my budget. The owner and Inkeeper, Son, is a wonderful host and was very interested in may needs... A good bet

My husband & I recently stayed in the Moosehead Lake Suite at Elmere House. The innkeeper, Son, was very personable, and helpful, providing wonderful dinner recommendations for both nights of our stay. The inn and room were immaculate & the bed was extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the Moosehead Lake suite. Contrary to another guests comments, our room was very... More

My husband and I stayed two nights and only wished we had more time to enjoy the homey atmosphere and warm friendly service. Son, the owner, was a joy. She is a sweet hard working Mom who clearly takes pride in every aspect of her B&B. We stayed in the Rangely room and the bed was soooo comfy! The room... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights on the final leg of our 3 week holiday touring New England. During this time, we stayed at various B &B's throughout the area so feel able to compare this accommodation to others. The owner, Son, was very warm and friendly providing us with very useful information regarding the area. The house... More

My fiance and I just got back from a 4 day trip in Southern Maine, where we enjoyed a 3 night stay at the fantastic Elmere House. From the moment we walked in, Son - the owner, greeted us with a smile and a helping hand. The b&b was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location. Not in the center... More

My husband and I had never stayed in a B&B before and I don't know if any other will live up to the wonderful experience we had here. From the moment we arrived until we left, we couldn't say anything bad. Son-Mi Winters, the owner, met us when we arrived and made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts that she... More

My husband and I stayed at this B&B during our annual striped bass fishing outing with Captain Satch & Sons/Wells Harbor. The location is convenient, close to beaches, shops restaurants etc. This place is a completely renovated farm house, and as other reviewers have said, the house is spotless. The exposed beams and original wood flooring are gorgeous. There is... More

My wife and I just got home two hours ago and here I am writing a review, honestly, it was that good. From the moment we arrived, till the time we left, we couldn't ask for a better experience. The service was awesome, the house was immaculate, the food was great, and the hospitality couldn't be better. The bed was... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Elmere House and we found the B&B comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were very good and the owner Son is very hands on and greeting you upon arrival. She has great advises regarding restaurant or beaches. She knows very well the area of Wells (Ogunquit and Old Orchard). We recommend this... More

This a beautifully restored home that is spotless and extremely well run. Good location for beaches and restaurants in Wells as well as easy drive to Drakes Island, Ogunquit, York and Kennebunkport. Son Mi Winters is the owner and is totally hands on. From greeting you upon arrival, to excellent breakfasts, to tidying up your room, this lady does a... More
