I should have known better to stay at a regular Holiday Inn. I travel every week for work and have had excellent results with Holiday Inn Express. There is no HEI in Waterville. Even though this place has undergone a renovation, it seems old and dated. As a Priority Club member I expect more from Holiday Inn. This was probably... more

I wanted to take a minute to respond to Jaybosox's review. I am sorry that he experienced a disappointing stay. Our last renovations that we had were in 2001 and we are due for renovations this year. In fact the process will be starting before this summer season starts. We also have re trained and hired some new housekeepers since...

We had a girls night in at the Holiday Inn Waterville Me. Maine's traveling day spa "I Do Spas" came right to our room. We had massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures. They provided everything, even robes and slippers. So awsome, we had the best time ever. I Do Spas was great, they provided the best spa services any of us... more

Being a Priority Club member we love their Holiday Inn Express hotels however we will never stay at a "regular" Holiday Inn again. We should have known there would be a problem when we needed to call the hotel directly regarding our reservation and found the clerk to be impolite, curt and seriously lacking customer service skills. We had requested... more

We stayed at this hotel on 8/3/08. The hotel is run down. After spending about 20 minutes in the first room, we asked to be moved to another room. I've only done that once before in our travels. The first room: the rug in front of the air conditioner was soaking wet. A large area of wall covering near the... more

Nothing too exciting to report. The room was clean and spacious, staff friendly enough, and the breakfast was decent. For Waterville, this is our favorite place to stay. Probably the nicest hotel in the town and the price is fairly reasonable. more

We ended up here on the suggestion of a local resident. The hotel was reasonably quiet and clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. With that said, this is just your average highway exit hotel. more

I've stated here twice now and both times the rooms were clean and quite nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The first time the breakfast was a little meager but since then they have added cold cereal and a few other items. I would say it is now typical of most free hotel breakfasts. In any case I wouldn’t... more

Great location, very friendly staff, very clean and the lounge small and cozy and the food was good. I had a king size bed and it was extremely uncomfortable - was too hard / firm - really poor quality or very old matress - should replace this matress. more

The rooms are very nice. All the furnishings seem to have aged a few years, but are still in excellent condition. Everything was clean and comfortable. No complaints. Very good all around. The decor is standard American - very very pleasing to the eye. The lighting was soft and there were very nice paintings on the wall. It is located... more

I was skeptical of this hotel at first, because my business trip to Waterville happened to fall on St. Patrick's Day, and I soon discovered there was an Irish pub in the hotel (or at least a pub eager to lure in customers in honor of the day). When I checked in, people were teeming into the hotel with coolers... more
