I had a very pleasant stay here. The hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate, yet the rooms are quiet. There's plenty of parking and close by there are several food options, both fast food and a convenience store within walking distance. Anything else you may need is only a few minutes drive away. The room was very clean... More

They did not have an unrented room available which would meet my needs, so I did not see or stay in a room. They were welcoming, courteous and friendly, and graciously allowed me to make myself at home in their reception area, while I used their WiFi to find other accomodations. The whole time I was there, they were warm... More

I really do not like to trash people trying to eek out a living in this horrible economy but this building needs to have a SERIOUS DEMOLITION!!!!! The present building is suffering from a long list of owners who have done nothing to sustain this place with a maintenance reserve fund, but have rather just pocketed any profits this may... More

Filthy, paint pealing, lights that would not work, dirty bath tub- I'm so angry for not having checked out the reviews. I thought the chain was a good value chain- inexpensive but clean and properly run. This place is a dump and should be razed. Can't wait to leave and I just hope I don't have bugs going with me.

We had a friend who had a conference in waterville and decided to stay at the Econolodge in Waterville because it was SLIGHTLY less expensive than the other hotels in the area. Our door did not latch unless we threw ourselves up against it, the walls were covered in disgusting stains, the doors to the TV center were both busted... More

The room was not cleaned very well, cobwebs in the corner. Overall impression is nothing has been updated in a long while, including bedding. This was the only motel available in the area and I can understand why. When we checked in, which was in the evening, the breakfast area hadn't been cleaned from that morning.

Simply put, best to pass on this property if at all possible. Chose the property only because of location on our route of travel and very much regret the decision, even for the redemption of Choice Points. Rooms were not ready at check in, no functioning Internet, no functioning ice machine on the property and the heat would not shut... More

We were travelling to Nova Scotia from Ontario and going through Maine, hoping to stay in Bangor Maine, first week of September. There was a concert in Bangor, and no rooms. The Bangor hotel reception got us a room (last one) at Econo in Waterville. We had to backtrack 45 minutes to get there. The reception said she would give... More

This motel has a good location but it is seriously run down and consequently very overpriced. WIFI does not extend to the whole complex. The continental breakfast was the simplest I have ever seen. There was no bread even for toast. The yard is littered with junk, there was even a broken down cooler beside our front door. There was... More

Stayed here because it was late and we just needed a place to crash. It was a very basic room, but everything was run down and dated. The desk clerk wasn't even sure we would be able to get the door open. It was way overpriced.
