My wife & I were late in booking for Parents' Weekend at Colby College. The only nearby place to stay was Econolodge (Waterville seems to have 5 motels). On the plus side, the motel is only a mile to Colby, so the location is ideal. But this motel is in deplorable condition . . . beat-up outer door frame made... More

We were there last week and stopped during our night stop over. But very disappointed as this rooms were quite dirty. Shower tub was choking. The ceiling was almost falling down of our room. But as far as the manager was concern she was nice person and attended to our call effectively. This place needs a great improvement or my... More

If you bring a pet it will want to sleep in the car. Terribly stained pillows on the bed had to go out and buy our own, broken deadbolt on the door. Had to rehang our rooms curtain. Fully repainted room with the exception of a rectangular patch where there was once a full length mirror uncovering a foam green... More

You could stay for a night but only if other hotels are all booked. It seems very old, dated and very dark. We were in the middle of a long drive so stopped because it was so close to the highway. On the upside the price was very good for a last minute place to sleep the night. It was... More

We were in the area as tourist with another couple. We had reservations. The price was very good. We stayed in the area for The Common Ground Fair. The hotel is very old. The furniture was about 20 years old. The bathroom has a rusty drain in the tub. The sink in the bedroom was also rusty. The bed was... More

I had a very pleasant stay here. The hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate, yet the rooms are quiet. There's plenty of parking and close by there are several food options, both fast food and a convenience store within walking distance. Anything else you may need is only a few minutes drive away. The room was very clean... More

They did not have an unrented room available which would meet my needs, so I did not see or stay in a room. They were welcoming, courteous and friendly, and graciously allowed me to make myself at home in their reception area, while I used their WiFi to find other accomodations. The whole time I was there, they were warm... More

I really do not like to trash people trying to eek out a living in this horrible economy but this building needs to have a SERIOUS DEMOLITION!!!!! The present building is suffering from a long list of owners who have done nothing to sustain this place with a maintenance reserve fund, but have rather just pocketed any profits this may... More

Filthy, paint pealing, lights that would not work, dirty bath tub- I'm so angry for not having checked out the reviews. I thought the chain was a good value chain- inexpensive but clean and properly run. This place is a dump and should be razed. Can't wait to leave and I just hope I don't have bugs going with me.
