Disclaimer: we stayed here with family during a wedding weekend, and we are now related to the owners after said wedding. However, as a seasoned traveler, I have to say this was a terrific spot to stay! The location looks like it may be remote on a map, but it's just a few minutes from the Damariscotta/Newcastle sights and attractions,... More

The Brannon Bunker was a great choice for accommodations on my swing up the Maine coast. The small inn was absolutely cozy and charming, just what I imagine a Bed & Breakfast to be like. Friendly innkeepers, historic hodgepodge on the walls, comfortably furnished rooms, and a nice sitting/living room area. Not a full breakfast, bur Jeanne serves fresh out... More
