My husband, sister-in-law, niece, and I stayed at East Wind Inn last fall. We found the staff very accommodating. When we wished to change rooms (because I wanted a different view), they quickly complied. We found the rooms bright and sunny with wonderful views of Tenants Harbor. The food was delicious though limited. My husband and I will definitely return.... More

Quaint inn with laid back luxury. Get the updated suite and enjoy the hardy breakfast. The views off the veranda are watercolor worthy. Helpful innkeeper makes sure you have hot coffee and your room is refreshed. The Inn is historic and "old school" but the tavern downstairs is newish, can hold a huge lively party and the service is excellent.... More

The Inn and the setting are beautiful, but the rooms vary dramatically depending on whether or not they have been refurbished. The linens are crisp and wonderful. The warmth experienced at similar inns is missing here. An attention to detail is lacking and response times to requests and reservations are slow. For instance, the doors from the dining room to... This was my first trip to Maine, and the East Wind Inn added so much to my visit. We stayed here the night before and the night after our cruise on the Stephen Taber. As soon as I walked into the inn, I knew it would be a great experience. The lobby is like a large living room with comfortable... More

This was my first stay at East Wind Inn and I will be back. The setting is so beautiful--water views, sun rippling on the water, small boats, schooners, trees across the harbor--always something to admire. The glorious September weather added a special sensor element. My room was lovely. Large! Completely new, comfortable bed, the sheets smelled so nice and clean,... More

Truly relaxing and non-touristy in September. Great to relax on the verandah and watch the harbor activity. Breakfast was excellent and on one rainy night we sampled both the tavern and restaurant and they were excellent and we met some very nice people!

We have been to East Wind a number of times over the years and always had a wonderful time. With the new owners, we found the apartment ( Which we have rented in the past, and our favorite) extremely clean and the bed was wonderful! Staff was friendly and very willing to help us in any way... Looking forward to... More

We spent two nights in late August 2013 and had a lovely 2nd floor room overlooking the harbor and sea. Talked with Emily, the innkeeper, who helped us choose our room prior to arrival. She is very good at her job. The room (#2) was spacious and very clean with a sitting area and appropriate furniture and decor. The bathroom... More

This was our third visit, but the first under new management. Innkeeper very easy to deal with by email and phone. Room was not luxurious, but in keeping with a Maine coastal inn. Very fair value for the money. Highlights are Terrific and scenic location right on a small working harbor also accommodating pleasure boats Walk to Genera Store/P.O./fish market... More

There is a great 1/2 Marathon in the area and we stopped by the East Wind Inn just as it was reopening and received a private tour of the totally renovated Inn. That was Memorial Day weekend and we booked two nights for the race in August. What a great time! There is not a bad view from any of... More
