A hidden gem in western Maine. A clean bed and bathroom with an in room frig and funky decorating. Very reasonable rates, no inflated or pretentious rates. Good service, convenient location and a decent restaurant with a nice selection of beer on tap; what more could you want! Will stay there again.

Stayed at the White Wolf before my first backpack through the Bigelow range. Very convenient. Great food and good company! Worth the stay and I got fueled up with some great good! Duck bacon, not too shabby.

I've eaten at The White Wolf in many times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service is always prompt and friendly. Sandy, the owner, is always lovely and helpful. And, most importantly, the food is consistently delicious. The specials are often out of the ordinary and usually what I like to try. Although, the menu items are good too, the... More

I have been lucky to have fallen into the White Wolf Inn in my travels. I now have stayed there multiple times and I will continue to stay there when I am in the area. Sandy is an awesome person and there aren't enough good words to describe her Inn and restaurant. The quantity and quality of the food and... More

Cozy get-a-way. The staff are all amazing and upbeat. The food at their restaurant was delicious at every meal. Great price! The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. I do not hesitate to recommend checking out this lovely get away.

Pros: close to ski areas, great food at attatched restaurant, clean, warm room, tub/shower with HOT water. Cons: very small, oddly angled TV. Functioning, though very dated bathroom with DIY repair caulking job and cracked tiles. Truck noise in front rooms. The cons are minor, and even more so after a day of recreation. This is motel in Stratton. Maine.

My husband and I stayed for just one night and do plan to go back. The rooms are exactly as described, very clean and a very spacious bathroom. The restaurant is just downstairs and the food is top notch.

We needed a place to stay on a road trip and were looking for a budget option in the touristy area of Stratton, Maine. The room was average. It was very clean. It was cool when we checked in but they put the heat on for us upon request. The restaurant was great. Only real comment/complaint was that we asked... More

Stayed a night (Feb 22) after a day at Sugarloaf, planning the next day at Saddleback. Room was comfortable, clean, washroom had lots of hot water. They even have Wifi and cable TV. Restaurant and lounge on first floor had an extensive menu including a new favourite..."slow flying duck". Service was great, very friendly, food was good and in large... More
