We stayed at the Kingsleigh in July 2005 and loved it. We went back in July 2008 and had another wonderful experience -- it is a great inn, with great food and great hosts. You will not find a better place to spend a few days, or better people than the innkeepers, Dana and Greg. They are quick with suggestions... more

My husband and I stayed at the Kingsleigh Inn for two nights in July, while exploring the Acadia park. It was one of the best B&B we have stayed in! So caring, so welcoming, clean, tastefully decorated, truly a very romantic, special getaway. It was such a releif after staying in busy and commercial Bar Harbor! The Inn is immaculate,... more

The breakfasts are the reason to stay here - each morning include fresh muffins (we had pumpkin one morning and fresh blueberry the other), a starter and then a main course, with granola available as well. The starter one morning was carmelized banana and pineapple cairns, which were heavenly. Afternoon cookies were also exceptionally yummy. The room wasn't anything special,... more

Just got home from a ‘return’ stay at the Kingsleigh Inn. We stayed here in July 2007 and had a wonderful time. We were just as delighted with our stay this year. The attention to every detail just puts the icing on the cake. Our host and hostess (Greg and Dana) work very hard to make our stay enjoyable. The... more

We stayed at the kingsleigh inn and just loved it! The Inn is beautiful and the hosts, Dana and Greg are very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting out on our private deck as well as the wrap around porch either having a cup of coffee or resting on the hammock. The common areas inside are also conducive to relaxing... more

No finer place to stay on the island. The Kingsleigh suite is what one would expect in the finest of estate homes. Superb house keeping and beautiful grounds. Dana and Greg welcome guests (strike that) Friends with an open heart and hearth. Dana's home cooking is better than mama's. And Greg's attention to detail would satisfy even a West pointer.... more

This inn is beautiful!! The outside is impeccable, the inside is also impeccable. Beautifully decorated. Everything is very organized! Each room has wine, bottled water and the best rumballs I've ever had! The beds are sooo comfortable, you never want to get up. The breakfast is so gourmet and neverending! This is my favorite place of all of the ones... more

This Inn is beautiful! Antiques, roses, china, and wicker....and much more. Dana and Greg made us feel right at home. We munched on all the goodies.... Chocolate, homemade cookies,Espresso Coffee... homemade granola, fruit, rum balls,.... Then after all that....the gourmet breakfast will make you feel like you dropped into a very expensive restaurant. The beds were oversized and snuggly. Bathrobes... more

My wife and I had an amazing time at the Kingsleigh on our honeymoon. The breakfasts were creative and delicous! Our room was fantastic, bed was extra comfy. A nice surprise was how great the teas were in the afternoon. Their location was great, we often biked and hiked around Acadia from here. Also there were great restaurants in easy... more

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and loved it. The Inn is beautiful and Dana and Greg provided wonderful personal service to us, helping with hiking tips, fireworks and dinner suggestions and planning a sailing trip. The breakfasts were very creative and tasted as good as they look. Our room was completely comfortable and perfectly clean and... more
