Beautiful seashore view across street from this Seawall Motel. My mom & I enjoyed our stay at Seawall. We watched sunrise together at seashore across the street. That's very convenient at 5:00am :-D. The room is pretty clean. The owner Dave & Vickie are friendly. Thanks for their suggestions and we had good time touring around the area. We like... More

This bed and breakfast/motel is very nice. It is clean and tidy and close to the water. The rooms are an good size. (on the smaller size but cozy) They also serve tea at all times and are extremely friendly.

We just spent 5 nights there celebrating our anniversary. Spotless and spacious motel rooms. The view is gorgeous too. We would highly recommend this motel! Everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay on Mount Desert Island was perfect, from recommending places to see and dine, to giving us directions to anywhere we wanted to go. Even... More

Spent the weekend on Mt. Desert Island at Seawall Motel. This motel is the way motels should be...clean, friendly, helpful, comfortable and a place you look forward to returning to. Dave and Vicki feel like family and have great travel suggestions.

Spent three nights at the Seawall Motel in what I consider the most beautiful part of Mt.Desert Island (Seawall)! Simple furnishings, nice continental breakfast, very personable, competent owners and employees. Quiet side of the Island is most enjoyable.

We stayed 3 nights this week had an awesome experience! The owners, Dave and Vicki, were two of the nicest people I have ever met! My daughter is stationed in Southwest Harbor in the Coast Guard, and we will be back again and again! The motel was spotless, had very large rooms, great water pressure in the shower, and a... More

Stayed here a week or two before the crazy tourist season started so was very quiet. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful with planning our hikes and suggesting where to get food(Gotts). Definitely would stay here again!!

This is a wonderful place - a paradise tucked away. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Acadia National Park area. The rooms are very nice and spacious. I stayed in a room located on the end with a wonderful ocean view. I called the day-of for accommodations and arrived very late. I was greeted with a... More

I stayed for 2 nights last week and would highly recommend this motel. The room was spotless, bed comfortable, and the owners were SO nice. It would have been helpful to have a microwave/fridge as at this time of year, finding an open restaurant was near to impossible. For an off season stay, I would return there no questions asked.

If you are not looking for a fancy Bar Harbor accommodation (which I'm sure are all excellent), but a nice, affordable, truly friendly motel this is definitely it. Located on the south shore, 5 minutes drive from two hiking trails, Wonderland and ship harbor Trail, 10 minutes drive from supermarket, coffee shops and restaurants. 30-40 minutes drive from Bar Harbor...
