The Seawall Motel is in Southwest Harbor on a quiet road away from the congestion that sometimes happens in Bar Harbor. The rooms on the second floor have a view of the water. The rooms on the first floor have a view of the parking lot and easy access to your car. The rooms are clean and functional. The free... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights, and really enjoyed the stay. Bottom line, when we go back to Acadia, we intend to stay here again. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are large. The accommodations are basic, but totally sufficient--and frankly, given that you're probably there for the park, not something that we even thought of... More

Plain and simple they do all the "little things" (& big things honestly) perfectly. The room is large, spotlessly clean and in a beautiful remote end of the island not too close or too far from the very touristy areas. Stunning view in the morning to wake up to, terrific continental breakfast each morning with healthier food options, very accommodating... More

We recently stayed @ Seawall and it exceeded our expectations! The oceanside location couldn't be beat (stayed on second floor for best views). The highlights for us (besides the location) included "Speed Bump" the cat and the very friendly & personable staff -a special shout out to Aaron @ the front desk!!! The room was clean, breakfast spread was more... More

This is a great place to stay in Acadia and it is a wonderful motel. Our room was large and very comfortable; two beds; very clean, well maintained; lots of big fluffy towels; very quiet, no road noise; the people in reception are friendly, very informative and fun to be around; the breakfasts are great; excellent value for money and... I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was very enjoyable. The staff are ready to help in any way that they can and that includes the resident cat, Speed Bump (as mentioned in other reviews, be sure to take care and look out for him in the lot as you drive in and out). If you can,... More

Quiet & tranquil. Very clean with updated bathrooms. Free continental breakfast with many offerings. Staff is super friendly and offer tips to see Acadia National Park and how to get around and provide warnings as to road construction and how to get around it. "Speed Bump" the cat was an added bonus. He greeted every visitor and was as friendly... More

If you want to avoid the overpriced hotels of Bar Harbor and stay in a charming part of Mt. Desert Island called the "Quiet Side", this is it! The motel is very close to Acadia National Park and was easy to find. The room was quite spacious and very clean. Wifi worked well and they have a good continental breakfast.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Seawall for 6 nites. If you are looking for a "clean, reasonably priced" place to stay while visiting Acadia the Seawall is it! It's close to Acadia for hiking and sight seeing. All of the staff are very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms don't have refrigerators but they have a large fridge... More

We've stayed at Seawall Motel every time we visited Acadia National Park - which, admittedly, we've only done 3 times, but I hear there are people who've stayed more than 40 times. For good reason, too. This unpretentious, clean and perfectly situated place might not provide you with the four-poster frill other B&Bs on the Island boast, but it is... More
