As a local business leader, I rely on the Cafe Dry Dock to provide rooms for clients and other visitors to stay. I am pleased to say that everyone I have had stay in one room or another at Cafe Dry Dock has had a great experience there. It is important for me to know that their experience is good... More

The Drydock Inn is more of a guesthouse than a hotel. The owners are hardworking friendly folk but don't expect to get a lot of attention-- they are busy with running the restaurant and the Inn. We enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean, comfortable and well kept. We actually stayed in two different rooms, one on the north... More

The room we stayed in seemed to be pretty clean and neat. Nice and pleasant owners. Tasty food in the restaurant downstairs. We parked for free on police parking lot just a block away. BUT!!! the smell in the room horrible, like if someone was smoking there non-stop. Or possibly it was just a stinky odor from the old furniture... More

This review has really puzzled us and we were unaware of any problems in the room. Every matteress and box spring in our inn was replaced in May 2010 with high quality beds. Smoking is not allowed in our rooms and our cleaning staff is viligant of this as we will charge the offender for cleaning the entire room of... More

My husband and I stayed in Room #1 - a little suite actually. It was clean, well equipped and the bed was really comfy. We ate in the restaurant downstairs - all our meals and appetizers etc were really really good. Among the 6 of us taking a long weekend, we had rooms 1, 2 and 8. Everyone was happy,... More

This was our second year staying at the Inn. Their location made it so easy to get to everything. This year we did the bike trails in the park. We were able get the shuttle around the corner from the Inn at the post office. Shuttles have bike carriers and are FREE and go anywhere you would like. We took... More

Martha and John were the best host. They recomended sites to see and places to check out. You could not ask for a nicer place to stay. Everything was clean and tidy the next best thing to being home. I also recommend you do not pass up dining at the Cafe. Every meal we had there was outstanding. More

For the price of a chain hotel stay you can stay in charming comfort at this B&B. They conviently located in the center of town, and a moments car ride to local attrations like the Bass Harbor Lighthouse. To top it off they also have wireless Internet access. Multiple room options are available. My room was impecably kept clean and... More

I stayed at this lovely Inn for two nights. The room was very comfortable and clean. The a/c was a bit loud. Southwest Harbor is a great location. It is off the beaten path but close enough to the National Park. The Inn keepers were warm and welcoming. More

We made ressies for the Dry Dock to extend our stay near Acadia by one night (we changed our plans after making our initial reservations, and just needed one more night). We saw reviews of "charming" and "quaint" so we made reservations. We stopped by during the days before we were to check in, and we're glad we did! The... More

The Cafe drydock and Inn is located in downtown Southwest Harbor. The Inn has 7 rooms and dates to the 1920's. We do not have a front desk and also do not lock the front door. The inn is a stepback in time to a slower pace and that is what attracts so many people to us. As owners we... More

My famliy and I have stayed at the Cafe Drydock many many times (we have three young kids). The service is great for a small hotel. Our room is always clean and neat (like we are the first people to ever stay there). The restruant down stairs has the best food...all made fresh with local ingredients. Can't get any better... More
