It is a cosy restaurant. The food was excellent, The Chowder, the Moroccan Chicken, lobster roll and BLT were all winners. Ditto for the blueberry crumble with whipped cream and ice cream. Several family groups and has an outside area for pretty days. Nice attentive servers.

Thank you for you nice review. We try to stay on top of our business and procure the best seafood and food items we can. We pride ourselves in buying local as much as we can and have two gardens where we grow herbs and vegies that are used in the restaurant. Today we harvested kale for our soups and... More

My daughter and I stopped by for a nice fiah dinner. Horseradish crusted Haddock and Lemon baked Halibut. Both very good. Also had the smoked salmon appetizer. It was excellent once the we got some straight horesradish to go along with the salmon. My daughter had the Caesar Salad, also very good. Very nice meal.

Thank you for your review. We buy local fish when in season and other seafood items right here at the docks. There are many great products from the ocean including local oysters, mussels, and shellfish. Thanks again for visiting us and your nice review. More

Hub and I stayed here for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Such nice people own it. Kudos to the young man who helped us with our bags and kept our room clean. We stayed in room 1, which is the biggest room. It has living room, bedroom, bathroom and full kitchen. It looks out over Main Street and across... More

Thank you very much for staying with us. Allen is normally our chef, but in a small town you have to be flexible during our shoulder season. He does a great job of working around the inn while waiting for our restaurant to open. There are about 1700 year round residents including us. We have that small town appeal with... More

I stopped into the cafe Drydock for a beer after a long day hiking in Acadia. I was planning on just having a beer and figuring out my following days activities. The waitress was super nice and recommended the mussels as well as a few other options and I decided I was in Maine, I should give them a try.... More

We stopped here for Lunch after exploring the area. The greeter was very pleasant, and so was our waitress. We had sandwiches which were well prepared and tasted great, and portion size was very satisfying. There are some interesting pictures around the restaurant in which I asked the waitress about, and both her and the greeter had some great local... More

Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park, is busy, busy, busy in the summer. It's no wonder! Acadia is a beautiful park and should be on everyone's bucket list. The western side of the island, however, is not nearly so overrun with tourists. Hence, its reputation as the "quiet side of the island." We recently stayed two nights in... More

we stayed there for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much! we had probably had the smallest room, but ot was well-equipped. especially the microwave oven and the refridgerator werd handy and helped to keep the budget a bit lower.

This is an amazing little jewel in Southwest Harbor. My family has been staying at the Cafe Drydock and Inn for at least a decade. The rooms are always immaculately clean and the recent renovations were very well done. The innkeepers are some of the nicest people you'll find.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way to Canada. We were a little nervous since it was so well priced and we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place was. The room we had was small but wonderfully decorated and clean, the linens were lovely. The owner, Marty, was delightful and actually helped me with an anniversary... More

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations at this inn. The inn is directly over the restaurant, and located on one of the only streets in Southwest Harbor that people frequent. We liked the "homey" feel of the inn (we stayed in room 3, which is actually a small suite) and the contemporary design and furnishings. The... More
