We bought this timeshare with the intention of trading it, but we have so much fun here, we never trade! The property is well located on the "quiet" side of Mount Desert Island, where natural beauty abounds. We never run out of things to do. We ride bikes on the carriage trails of Acadia National Park, play golf nearby, hike... More

This is my sister's Time Share, but we frequently get to use it. The resort is in a secluded location accessible to most of Acadia National Park. Resort staff was helpful and pointed us in the direction of a number of good local restaurants. We had the obligatory visits to the National Park (always excellent) and took a ferry to... More

Neat and clean! Activities planned throughout the week at the clubhouse was nice too. Of course, the view of the harbor was amazing. Just fair warning, be aware of children/people on bicycles around the parking lots. Bicycling is popular in the area. Overall, our honeymoon experience was great!

My parents are owners at Harbor Ridge and were staying there for a week, August 9-16, so my husband and I joined them for three nights. The unit was great, plenty of space, very clean and an easy walk to downtown Southwest Harbor. Overall, it was very quiet and peaceful, yet a quick ride to Acadia for the beautiful sights.... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. It is unfortunate that your phone was damaged. I apologize for how our staff handled your concern. Harbor Ridge has had an ongoing problem with leaky windows during wind driven rainstorms due to a design flaw at the time of construction. Owners have been notified through newsletters about the problem,... More

Mount Desert Island is a special place to visit. Being able to stay in Southwest Harbor at the Harbor Ridge Resort made the visit even more special. Hiking, biking and running from the resort was easy and beautiful mountain tops and seaside walks were within minutes of th Harbor Ridge. Additionally, the resort itself has roomy, clean, light-filled units which... More

Great place to stay and we will be back! Plenty of room for our family of five! Recommend to families as there was plenty to do! Kids loved the indoor heated pool and the tennis court. I enjoyed the ease of booking online and the friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Harbor Ridge, overlooking Somes Sound as it enters Southwest Harbor, was the perfect spot to visit Acadia National Park and all that it has to offer. The "Quietside" is such a beautiful area from which to start your daily adventures. Hiking, biking, sailing, boating, dining, shopping, sight-seeing are just some of the offerings available to you. Another whole year until... More

Harbor Ridge lies peacefully on a quiet street in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Its three story units offer space and privacy. Units have all basic necessities, even a lobster pot if you want to cook the lobsters yourself. They provide outdoor BBQ grills and picnic tables if you want to do your own grilling. There is a deck outside the living... More

I love this place and We just finished our week here. The only reason it is not getting five stars is the first unit we were in the decks railings are not up to safety standards. My 17 month old could run right out and off the deck. Thankfully we were sitting there right beside her as she stuck her... More
