This was our family's first time to MDI. There are so many places to stay on the island that choosing a location can be challenging. I selected the Lindenwood Inn on the basis of the location (the quiet side) and the reviews. I made the perfect choice and would come here again and again. There are a few things that... More

We recently stayed at the Lindenwood Inn for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay there very much! The innkeepers were wonderful and extremely helpful in steering us toward great restaurants and the best route to take further up the coast on our vacation. The hot tub was awesome, very relaxing after a long day of walking around the harbor town.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was the most amazing experience we have had at any type of hotel/ b&b. The staff was so great along with the complimentary breakfast, we did not want to leave! The location is also perfect since it's right near a small town and lots of restaurants.

Lovely place to stay! Enjoyed meeting Milan who was first to welcome us. Good location and the hot tub was a plus. Room nice but pricey. The harbor was not really easy to see from our deck in room #5. The breakfast was special. Nice to be able to walk into town.

In June of this year my husband and I took our first drive to Maine. Our ultimate destination was Acadia National Park. I was attracted to the "quiet side" of the Island for our stay. The Lindenwood was advertised to be a different Bed and Breakfast experience. We found the Inn to be everything advertised and more. The accomodations were... More

Staff were very friendly and helpful. This inn has a pool and hot tub which is wonderful if you are planning an active MDI vacation (biking/hiking/kayaking). Room was comfortable and had a harbor view. Close to town and nice restaurants (walkable). Would recommend it to active travelers. Much less crowded than Bar Harbor side but some traffic "jams" during peak... More

We're staying in room #9 (penthouse) and can't believe the beautiful view, gigantic deck and wonderful cozy room. We were worried from the reviews about hitting our heads but that's not a problem. It has a cathedral ceiling! Be mindful of the dormer angles but that's what gives it exceptional charm, beauty and view! Fred and Jim couldn't be nicer... More

My husband and I stayed in the Lindenwood Inn for two nights recently and had an enjoyable stay. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and were told we were being upgraded to Room 7 which had a private balcony. Our room was a nice size and very comfortable. Our balcony was very nice and overlooked the swimming pool and... More

Had been to another B&B in Southwest Harbor before that we had enjoyed in the past, but thought we'd try another. We found the Lindenwood to be very nice as well. The owners and staff were very pleasant and casual. We thought that the breakfast was excellent, the room very nice and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hot tub... More
