Based on other recommendations we stayed at the Inn at Southwest for several days. Our room was very comfortable and clean. But Dora and Daniel are really what made our stay, it felt like we were staying at the home of best friends. Dora and Daniel are a fabulous team. Daniel's gourmet breakfasts were great start for a long day... More

We ended up at The Inn at Southwest because every other place was booked. Lucky us!!! Dora and Daniel are the best inn keepers. Friendly. Attentive to every detail. And lookout -- those gourmet breakfasts were such a treat. And the cider and baked goodies by the fireplace in the evenings were a great way to end lovely days hiking... More

The inn was beautiful and very comfortable. Dora and Daniel made us feel comfortable immediate ly. The only down side is no tv, which disappointed my husband- but he got over that quickly- eating cookies by the fireplace. Additionally, a couple great restaurants nearby, with bar areas to watch football. I am not a morning person, and slept in after... More

The Inn at Southwest did not disappoint in anyway. In fact it exceeded my expectations as some B&Bs do. I don't rate B&B's by the bricks and mortar they are made of or by the location except in very general terms. What I look for when I travel is an inviting place with very clean accommodations and a common room... More

We loved this place. Breakfast was SO good, the people there warm and friendly, the rooms nicely appointed, thoughtful touches abounded. It's convenient to a great local market and several good restaurants. Thoroughly recommend this spot and will be back.

When we first got to the Inn we were disappointed that it didn't have a better view of the harbor. But our first step into the house made up for the missed waterfront! The Inn is charming and the owner, Sandy, was so friendly and welcoming. The Inn Keepers (and chef) Dora and Daniel were beyond amazing! Everything had to... More

We stayed for four nights. The purpose of our trip was to hike in Acadia National Park. If you like B&Bs, this is a fine B&B. The large house is beautifully maintained (except the driveway as noted below); our room was clean, immaculate and tastefully decorated. Coffee and tea are always available. Excellent lemonade and cookies are set out in... More

My husband and I just stayed the night at this Inn and stayed in the Pumpkin Island Room Wend. night. The room was $120 and I'm really glad it was not more than that or the review would have gotten a lesser rating. It's good the owner is keeping these prices down and competitive. I am posting a lot of... More

Located in the heart of Southwest Harbor this inn has it all!
