We picked this motel for the price and location, and were not disappointed. I find it hard to identify with those who knocked this motel. Don't expect a five-star hotel for this price. I have stayed at the South portland Days Inn multiple times over the last number of years, and the hotel is a great little spot to stop for longer drives, or a good home base when visiting South Portland and the Maine Mall shopping area.
