Gorgeous lake and natural setting among the pines! Costly, but first-rate all-inclusive resort run by hands-on family. Excellent (and plentiful) food and service; warm and unpretentious. Swim, boat and picnic to your heart's content. We stayed in a main lodge room with traditional decor and A/C. A variety of houses and family cabins are available (did not see those interiors).... Just so splendid! Adorable cabins. People need to realize that these are cabins! It's not the park plaza hotel! That's what makes it charming! The food is exceptional! Suit coat for dinner is required for men which I love! Finally a place that doesn't allow jeans and a sloppy shirt at a meal!

Thank you so much for your kind words. We're glad you enjoyed your visit, and your meals, and we're appreciative that you also like to dress up a bit at dinner time! We do like to relax during the day, and step it up a little in the evening. More

Just returned from a wonderful (albeit rainy!) weekend wedding at Migis Lodge. It rained the ENTIRE weekend but slowed up just a bit in time for the outdoor, lakeside wedding ceremony and cocktails. Even with the wet weather, we LOVED our stay here! Very cozy with fires in each fireplace, lots of nooks and crannies to explore, catching up with... More

I grew up going to E. Sebago (Sebago Lake, Maine) for with my family for a month every summer. How we loved it! I haven't been back in more than two decades (I am a born and bred Bostonian, but have lived in NYC since college,), and the lake is still as gorgeous as ever! This time I chose to... More

So sorry that I just wrote a lengthy review and then when I discovered I didn't have a picture back tracked and my entire review had been erased. (Rating for tripadvisor.com = 1 on that one.) So...gourmet food, rooms in the lodge (5?) have air conditioning and an elevator to get people down to the first floor and dining room.... More

I don't even want to tell people about it. The only possible "negatives' are: -cash only -No A/C ( for the one day a year you might need it). We loved it. First class without pretension. Everyone is lovely. So peaceful, quiet and restful.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Migis Lodge this past weekend for my cousin's wedding. It was such an amazing experience, I felt compelled to write a review this morning. First, I will tell of our experience. We arrived Friday afternoon around 3:00 pm to a warm welcome, easy to talk to staff, and a welcome bag with goodies and... More

Destination weddings are the trend lately and I was invited to be a part of the celebration , to take place at Migis Lodge in South Casco, ME. It was unknown to me, but proved to be a spectacular setting !! At first, all seemed too rustic, but what a misconception. The "cottages" are spacious, sparkling clean and well appointed... More

The Migis has a "never-never land" feel to it as you wind through the pines along their country road driveway before emerging from the woods into a blissful, serene resort residing along the shores of pristine lake Sabego. Beatifully placed guest "cabins" along footpaths stretch around the bay rekindle memories of summer camp... only with running water, electricity, wifi! The... More

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Michael. We are so happy you enjoyed your 'never-never land' stay! And do allow us to mention that we are a destination resort for families both small and large, often multi-generational families. Also, for decades, a particularly popular activity all summer long starting at 7:00 am is water-skiing, for which we also offer instruction... More

I love Maine and spent summers as a child in Maine. As an adult I have returned to coastal locations for vacations which were great, however never captured the magic of my Maine memories until we stayed at Migis last summer. The rustic setting and casual manner, does not really show how magical a visit can really be.It took a... More
