We stayed here while attending the Downeast horse show. The motel is located across the street from the fair grounds. Room includes a very comfortable bed,small fridge, cable tv and internet access. The decor is a bit dated, but looks fresh/clean. Coffee and breakfast snacks are available at the motel office. more

Stayed here for one night on business. The guys I was visiting were concerned for me ("Have you seen the place?" they asked) and were staying at a Holiday Inn a town or two away. Needed a place to stay for a night while driving through Maine, ended up at The Belmont Motel. Great little place, close to everything you need... Walmart, gas stations, Mc Donald's, etc. The room was very affordable and absolutely, without a doubt the cleanest place I've ever stayed away from home! Appeared to be recently remodeled/updated. Our most favorite place to stay in Skowhegan. The owners are friendly and the rooms and amenities are the best in the town, although it is a standard motel. We have been visiting Skowhegan every summer for the last eleven years and stayed in Belmont four times. We were not able to stay there last three years, since the place... more

Standard american motel but rises above the average by personal attention of owner. We stayed there in August 2005 as part of a large wedding party spread around various lodgings in Skowhegan and received a very friendly and helpful welcome. more
