For the past twenty five years I have been visiting friends in West Point, Me just up the hill from the Sebasco Harbor Resort in Sebasco Estates, Maine. Over the years we have played golf, eaten meals, bought gas for the boat at Sebasco but never stayed there. Well this year there was an over crowding at the house so... More

We have been here only a couple times but we will continue to come back. People need to review this from the proper perspective. What I mean by that is that this is not a "luxurious, champagne and chocolate" type of place. What it is is an "old time, different era traditional kind of Maine resort". There is a ton... More

If you can't swing at anchor in Sebasco the same views are available at the resort. We stayed in one of the nicer cottages which provided bucolic and serene views of the harbor. Many of the activities are intended for families. While the accommodations are Maine rustic, the Ledges restaurant is more modern with great food and views of sailboats,... More

Only stayed one night en route to somewhere else. It is a little dated in terms of the rooms but it is in a great location with loads to do. We would have happily stayed here more nights. What customer service we encountered was very good.

This was our second visit to "Pure Main" Sebasco Harbor Resort and we will gladly return again. There are many nice features including its true waterfront location with great views of the ocean from many locations including our room. The staff is incredibly hospitable friendly and helpful....a constant reminder that this is not a chain resort! The facilities range in... More

This is great place to experience the Maine coast and the best Maine has to offer. Our family stayed a long weeekend for a birthday celebration. Everyone was busy and happy the whole time. We will go back next year.

Stumbled upon this little gem through a random recommendation on the web, while traveling up the coast on a road trip. Upon arriving very late, we were greeted very warmly, but, given the wrong room. (1 queen bed for 3 people + toddler ) But, the situation got handled quickly and we were promptly provided with an alternate room. Restaurant... More

Dear ‘ByAirByLandBySea’: Thank you for sharing your Sebasco travel thoughts with TripAdvisor – we are very happy that you stumbled upon our ‘little gem’. Apologies for the room issue – but it sounds as though it was handled well by the front desk team. Thank you also for mentioning the service – friendly and a smile is what we do... More

My family chose to spend a long weekend at the Maine shore after touring colleges on the east coast. The Sebasco website showed a quaint, charming resort which we looked forward to experiencing. Unfortunately, we found the best thing about the resort WAS the website. Upon arrival, we found our reserved suite unavailable, due to booking issues. We were offered... More

Dear ‘Holakj’: Thank you very much for staying with us and for sharing your views on TripAdvisor, although I certainly wish that we could have provided you with a visit that was better than our website. I hope the tour of the great Maine (and Eastern) universities was productive. In regard to the booking issues, without guest specifics, I can’t... More

We had a room on the third floor of the Lighthouse building -- never a real lighthouse, just built to look like one. It is right on the water with a fantastic view with a king size bed. The resort offers lots of amenities but the only one that we took advantage of was a 1.5 hour boat cruise.

Dear ‘MCBNH’: Thank you very much for staying with us and for sharing with TripAdvisor – it is much appreciated. The Lighthouse rooms are some of our most popular – although it was built to be a working lighthouse in 1945 by Sebasco’s original owner, Nate Cushman, it was never commissioned by the United States Coast Guard. The two rooms... More
