We took the self-catering Garden Cottage for half a week, as you can't take dogs in the in-house B&B rooms. A small converted outbuilding to a large 1900s Arts and Crafts-style main house in a lovely courtyard garden, with well-maintained gardens round the house. The owner, Anne, prepared it beautifully, not only providing some excellent home-made fig cake for us,... More

Hallo Rupert, We are glad you all enjoyed your stay and the cake and chews were to your liking. I note your comments about the towels; we have a clothes drying rack at the back of the wardrobe which you may have missed, we will make sure we point out its location to future guests. Thank you again for staying... More

We spent just one night at Four Gables but will remember it well for the hospitality and thoughtfully furnished rooms. Our en suite bedroom was not huge but we were only in it to sleep and it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. This property is a joy to explore and the gardens are beautiful. Having visited many b and... More

Hallo Pam We are both pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again. The walk down by the river is very pretty at the moment as some of the leaves are starting to turn brown. Thank you again David & Anne More

We have enjoyed many stays at Bramble Cottage, in the pretty village of Bramham, near Boston Spa. This 200 year old property is a perfect base for exploring the area and David and Anne are excellent hosts who always make us feel very welcome. Although we have never stayed at their lovely home, we have sampled Anne's delicious home made... More

Perfect location, very clean, very comfortable and always very friendly and welcoming. Add that to a fantastic breakfast and it just couldn't be better. We've been back 7 times now, and will definitely be back for more next year.

We (my partner and I) stayed here as we had a wedding to attend nearby. We normally stay in typical hotels so Four Gables was a nice change. Our room was comfortable and contained everything we needed including bottles water filtered from a nearby source (and plenty of it!). The most striking aspect of our stay was how hard the... More

We stayed at Four Gables in July 2014 and had a very comfortable room. We stayed in the King room, also known as the 'elephant' room as each room is named after an animal. We were very impressed by how clean it was, without being spartan and with plenty of character. The welcome from Anne was just right, enough but... More

A quaint typically English house in a quiet cul-de-sac. A good example of an Arts and Crafts house, but cluttered in places. The garden is beautiful and I wish I could have spent more time in it but we were only there for one night

Hallo, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and the garden. The Garden is giving of its fruit at the moment, the figs look about 2 weeks away and with the good summer we should do well.Sorry if the place seemed cluttered - one persons cluttered is another's lived in? We hope to see you again. David & Anne More

We stayed at Four Gables for the Grand Depart. Anne and David were wonderful hosts. David even lead us to a route to watch the tour before the roads closed at 430am. This excellent B&B is in a lovely Arts & Crafts style house off the main street in Boston Spa. Everything is done in excellent taste, the breakfasts are superb, and Anne & David are welcoming & friendly. If visiting Bramham Park for the Horse Trials or Leeds Festival, this place is just down the road. Highly recommended
