My partner and I stayed at The Lodge when we visited Leeds Festival in August 2014. At the last minute we decided that we would stay overnight and came across The Lodge online. We picked this B&B due to it's proximity to the festival however it has so much more to offer than simply a good location. We received a... More

We visited The Lodge in August & received a warm welcome from a lovely lady named Val. This residence was extremely well appointed & was tastefully decorated & adorned with interesting paintings & ornaments. The flight of stairs from the front door lead to a beautiful Drawing Room & homely & well equipped kitchen on the first floor. A further... More

The owner Val is very warm and friendly , she showed us our rooms and the huge bathroom. I was so pleased to find that the shower was separate to the... More

This was our second stop on our recent walk along "The White Rose Way" between Leeds and Scarborough and a place we would highly recommend to anyone doing this walk, or anyone just staying in the area. It is located on the Main Street, with the entrance being just up a small access road. We were very warmly welcomed by... More

I would highly recommend The Lodge, a beautifully furnished Bed and Breakfast, with private off road parking just outside the entrance for ease of unloading luggage. The whole house is tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. I was given a very warm welcome by owners Valerie and Philip and they went to every effort to see that my stay was comfortable.... Exceptionally warm reception, was great to be able to come and go as I wanted. The bedroom was top notch, comfortable and immaculately clean. The bathroom was impeccable and to a very high standard. Thank you both for being such wonderful hosts. All in all, a perfect stay and I would happily return again. 😀
