Just wanted to thank you for the great stay we had there a few weeks ago. We only spent 1 night there on our way up to Acadia from Boston. Paul and Jill were very nice and had tons of great tips and must see places for us to check out. Breakfast was excellent and the room, we stayed in... More

My husband and I stay in this area every summer to attend the Bucksport Bay Festival, normally we stay in Bucksport but decided to try a more personal visit by staying in a B&B just outside of town instead. The outside of the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The color scheme is warm and inviting and the gardens are gorgeous. It... More

We stayed at this lovely B and B for six nights. We moved from the smaller Rose Room to the large Captain's Quarters because it looked so nice. The room was huge and charming and the bed was so comfortable! The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The whole inn is historic and quite lovely with large and inviting common... More

The Carriage House Inn in Searsport Maine is the most beautiful B&B I have ever stayed in. The history of the home is gladly shared by the owner while enjoying her excellent breakfasts. Searsport is located close to Camden and Bar Harbor which makes it perfect for day trips. I have been to Inn several times and have taken many... More

My husband and I spent 5 days at the Carriage House in Searsport. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic house which, at one time, was own by Waldo Pierce a very well known painter. It was also visited by guests such as Ernest Hemingway and the memorabilias in the house are quite interesting in that regards. Our... More

I have been fortunate enough to stay at the Carriage House Inn a number of times and I am never dissapointed. Marcia is a wonderful hostess with an amazing knowledge of the area. She was able to reccomend things to do and places to eat. The view from the Inn is beyond compare, looking out at the ocean in the... More

This was without a doubt one of the nicest B&B's we've ever stayed at. Marcia was wonderful, helped us with meal reservations, excursion advice, you name it. The meals were superb, Marcia stuffs her guests and the food was great. We had the run of the house, nice comfy room with books in the main hallway for relaxed reading and... More

As frequent travellers, my husband and I often stay in Bed and Breakfasts. Our stay at The Carriage House was fabulous. Marcia Markwardt, the owner of the B&B, was the most gracious host. The room was lovely and impeccably clean. The breakfast was delicious. The inn is gorgeous witha great view. I would highly recommend staying here.
