WOW! Very impressive! Everything was great: service, friendliness, cleanliness, with an amazing atmosphere. This was our first time at this campground and we will definitely return. We were so impressed with everything. Thank you Searsport Shores Oceanfront Campground! Too bad we couldn't stay any longer.

We were fortunate to have serendipitously timed our visit to Searsport Oceanfront Campground to coincide with the appearance of the quilting ladies from Gee's Bend, Alabama. This was a vastly informative experience since I had never heard of them. We took part in the celebratory dinner and subsequent SRO talk held in the Searsport Congregational church. It was inspirational and... More

Clean campground, at check in the staff was very friendly. After that I didn't get 1 hello or good morning. As far as dog friendly, it is if you have a tiny dog that doesn't bark. We were constantly told to quiet our dogs, well that's what dogs do bark. Especially friendly, Large Breed puppy dogs that want to play.... More

We stayed for only 1 night while traveling home from Canada. We needed 2 sites for 2 campers Labor Day Weekend and Alice at the front desk was extremely helpful and found us 2 together with an ocean view! Fairly large very level clean sites. Lots to do and see right at the campground with many activities and play areas... More

Ok so usually it would take a lot for me to give a bad review but for being so called "dog" friendly I STRONGLY disagree! Very rude about dogs barking the USUAL bark, like when someone walks by or they are startled, these are COMMON bark areas! First off do not advertise dog friendly if you have to warn your... More

Just spent a very nice weekend at Searsport Shores Oceanfront Campground. We normally stay at state parks but decided to give it a try. I was nervous at first because of all the rules that were on the website but was very happy how friendly everyone was. When we arrived we checked in quickly, given our site and escorted to... More

I was very excited about this park - and it lived up to all expectations except for how crowded we felt and it was a little pricey. It is a fantasy place for social campers that love to participate in activities....and although the lobster bake was sold out and we could not participate I hear it is amazing. We are... More

As you arrive, you are greeted by the owner Steve, escorts your trailer to the campsite and gets you set up. No stress just lots of fun. The lobster bake is a great experience, great food with wonderful staff. Clean facilities, lots to do!! If travelling in the area again, would stay for sure. We stayed very recently, July 15-22,... We stayed here for 6 days while seeing the sights on our first trip to Maine. The owners were wonderful. Have us lots of tips on things to do. Our children enjoyed the artist studio. We all enjoyed walks on the beach. Right camp sites for large rigs. While there we visited accadia national park, castine for a sailboat ride,... More

Campground is very clean. Dog and kid friendly. Very nice and easy to deal with staff. Lobster bake was excellent. Lots of cute shops carrying locally made items. You must check out the farm stand across from the grounds for local produce and jams. We made reservations for next year before we left. Highly recommend.
