If your looking for bling you won't find it here, but if your looking for a relaxing comfortable stay then this is the place, and the reason we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the multitude of tourists in Bar Harbor, with easy access to Acadia National Park and a small nice beach in... More

Stopped by for lunch and were waited on promptly by the friendly server. I ordered a bowl of seafood chowder and my husband went with the crabmelt special. The chowder was a decent size bowl, which was full of shrimp, scallops, lobster and potatoes. It had a very good flavor and filled me up, I was quite happy with it.... More

The Inn was very nice. We had a room with two bedrooms with Queen Size beds. I was with my daughter and went to visit my brother and his wife. The rooms were very roomy. Also, there was a small kitchenette in one of the rooms. There was a TV and wifi. It was in a very good location for... More

I can say without reserve that this was the worst restaurant experience of my life (I am 61). I can't comment on the food since we never got it. We waited one hour and never received our lunch. Others who arrived between 15 and 45 minutes after us received their chowders and lobster rolls (which we had ordered) before us.... More

My wife and spent the Labor Day Weekend in the area and we had lunch here on Sunday. We had spent the morning in Acadia National Park and found the Lighthouse Restaurant for lunch. The food was very good. Service was excellent. A nice casual meal that was reasonably priced.

Stopped in for dinner on a foggy Wednesday night. The restaurant was pretty empty but the menu looked appealing. I had broiled scallops which were absolutely perfect. Not fancy, not sauced, just cooked to perfection. Best I have ever had. The chef obviously gets very fresh seafood and knows how to prepare it. Also had the broiled haddock - also... More

This looks like a dive but the staff was great and the food seafood plater was awesome. Childs burger was juicy and my crabmeat salad was filling and tasty. We walked away full without breaking the bank.

Very "Maine" kind of place, nothing fancy. Ok food at a reasonable price ($20 for a clam dinner with fries and slaw). The food and service were OK but I would likely go elsewhere next time. Did not stay at the Inn, only ate in the restaurant during the lunch hour.

I was driving around the island and was hungry and missing my favorite MDI restaurant, Capt'n Nemos. I decided to stop here since it was open and I was hungry. When I walked in there were a couple tables - one was finishing up and another had already ordered. I ended up ordering a cheeseburger and it was exactly what... More

Ravenous after hike on Cadillac Mountain (beware descending to Bubble Pond, it's steep!). Friendly but inconsistent service. Stamped tin ceiling airy dining room. Great buttery and milky chowder came with a surprisingly spicy cornbread. Good fish on a unhelpful bun and a scattering of chips. Great ice water (no kidding!) in pretty glasses. Good burgers.
