We have eaten out 7 nights and this being our last we decided to go back to the lighthouse inn restaurant since we had a great experience earlier in the week and tonight was no different. The lobster stew was DELISSSISH. Someone was leaving and suggested the dish and there was almost a full lobster in it. Great food. I... More

We ate lunch here in Mid-May before the start of the season. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The service and ambiance was good, but the food was truly not very good. I imagine that in-season when there are a lot of people around, this restaurant is probably pretty good.

After bicycling the Park Loop we stopped and had lunch. We were treated to relaxed atmosphere, good food, attentive staff, reasonable prices. Don't go there if you want white table cloths and candles. They creatively modified a menu selection to meet dietary needs.

We stopped in to eat at the resuraunt at on July 16, 2012 while on a family trip. We got there early and had a couple of appetizers while we pondered the menu. The only problem with the beer battered onion rings was that my children were fighting over them. My mother and I shared the stuffed mushrooms and they... More

We did not stay at the inn so I can't speak to the quality of the rooms. We ate lunch there one day while driving around MDI. The decoration was relatively kitschy and fun(unintentionally I think). The service was great and the food was good. There aren't a lot of options in Seal Harbor for eating but this is a... More

We stayed in the pink room for 2 nights during our honeymoon in 2007. Some staff had been staying in the room adjoined to us. We found out they had been spying on us thru keyhole. We called the cops, got our $ back and left. DONT STAY THERE!!!!! I have the police report to prove this is real.

The herb-crusted rack of lamb was great! Cooked to perfection! The lobster stew was very tasty too.

I have fond memories of the time my family lived in Seal Harbor, and the trips to the beach there. The town has suffered economically over the years, and the Lighthouse is one of the few businesses left in town. It is the only inn and restaurant in town, and is just a short walk to the town green and... More

We stayed in the blue room. On the plus side, it is spacious with a mini fridge, microwave, and sink. However, the bathroom is very small with a flimsy accordion-style door. The whole place - carpet, fixtures, furnishings - is pretty shoddy, and lots of little things were wrong with it, like overhead lights being burnt out. Not a disaster,... More

The price for the rooms are very reasonable. We had the gold room which was a little tight and the bathroom was very small. It's worth the price for a day or two. we didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on it.
