We spent four days at Higgins Beach Inn. We can't say enough about the wonderful staff from the Inn and from Garafalo's Restaurant...Colleen, Sophia and Maura at the desk; Ashley, Leigh, Rebecca (and others) at the restaurant; Jenn and the wonderful young ladies from Housekeeping...they were all helpful, kind, prompt and responsive to every need we could have had. The... More

We ate dinner at Garafalo's several times during the week we were at Higgins Beach, and each meal was excellent. We had Avery as our server, and she was fantastic!!!! We recommend asking for her. We tried several items on the menu, and each were very good. We would recommend the pear and goat cheese salad, the Wedge salad (excellent... More

The rooms are clean, steps from the ocean, food is incredible, and the service is first class. Kevin and I are innkeepers and it was a treat to getaway to a place that treats folks the same way we like to treat our guests. We are looking forward to our next visit with Bob, the friendly innkeeper.

We were fortunate enough to have dinner here while visiting a friend whom rents a nearby beach house every year. Our waitress was young and enthusiastic and very eager to make sure our dinner experience was a success. The entire meal was wonderful. I highly suggest the beet salad. It was a visual and culinary delight. There was a live... More

I stayed at the Inn for several nights when the rates were lowered for a Spring special. The Inn is very pretty. The front desk girls are very nice and friendly and "Jen" always greets you and is ready to assist you in any way needed. The rooms are bright, pretty and inviting (like being at Grandmas) and THEY ARE... More

Our destination was the lobster shack. On our way out we became so overwhelmed by the beauty of the area and ocean view around the Inn, so we stayed. Glad we did. Very comfortable and we felt at home. Everyone was friendly, even the adorable golden retriever. Added bonus food was delicious.

Though we rent a cottage at Higgins Beach each year, we always dine at the Higgins Beach Inn as it's convenient to walk to and the food is delicious! We particularly love spending late afternoon time on their deck enjoying some drinks and appetzers with friends. The last time a musician was also playing softly, so that added to the... More

A stay here will take you back in time - so if you want the full amenities of a modern hotel, consider yourself warned! At check-in, you will be given a key and then you will walk up the carpeted stairway to your room. The rooms are quaint, all different. Some have two very tiny beds, some have queen beds... More

The hotel was very quiet when we got there. They gave us a free upgrade to a room with a private bath. The room was very clean and pleasant and close to the beach. The lounge was still open when we were there and there was fruit and cheese available for the guests. The hotel is only two blocks away... More

Ok my wife and I really enjoyed our stay here, but in the wow can you believe hotel stays used to be like this, kind of way. It was only for one night and this places Quirkiness passed off as charm. I might not have felt the same after a few nights. Shared bathrooms, slamming doors, and no tv in... More
