My family has stayed at several fairfield Inns all over the counrty and this one here was the only one so far that has not met my expectations. We arrived around 10 pm and the hotel was very crowded everywhere- the lobby, the pool, the breakfast room (although it was night), the hallways, the parking lot--just everywhere. It was noisy... more

I booked two rooms in this hotel for a weekend away with a bunch of girlfriends. It is an older Fairfield Inn, but very clean and well kept. The staff was super polite and accommodating. 5 minutes after we checked in the staff called our rooms to make sure everything was OK and see if we needed anything else. A... more

I was hesitant booking this hotel as it ranks 8/10 on this website. However, it was inexpensive and thought we would give it a try although I was leary after reading the reviews. It is a bit strange of a lobby-elevators going upstairs are outside the lobby door and you use your keycard to go up in the elevator. Arrived... more

This hotel is adequate for one night's stay - we used this as stop-off on a tour of New England. The hotel itself & the rooms look tired & a bit grubby, it is really in need of refurbishment. It is convenient for the Interstate & for the shops & restaurants at the Maine Mall. more

Checking in was quick and easy, very friendly staff. Even grabbed a package for me that I had sent to the hotel without me even asking for it. Lobby was designed kind of strangely, not wide open like most hotel lobby. Price was reasonable for the area, $79 plus tax for the night. We were issued the old style plastic... more

We had seen mixed reviews of this hotel on Trip Advisor, but we found it to be a solid place to spend the night. It's basically a slightly above average chain hotel, with a good contintenal breakfast, clean and well-sized rooms and very good service. It's about 10 minutes to downtown Portland, and we found it to be a good... more

A fine print item in the room key folder alerts you to the fact that they charge $.75 to deliver the 'complementary' USA Today to your room (thrown on the floor in front of your door) . What a cheap way to do business in my opinion. Lost a customer because of the greed they exhibit .Otherwise, an average place... more

Checking in August 17th for a 2 night stay was quick an easy, The lobby is not marked and there is a small elevator which needs a key to operate. The room did have a musty odor and the decor and furniture does require an update. We asked for a king room and a cot for our son. Overall the... more

We stayed here over the weekend for a wedding. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness and quality for the $159 rate. The entrance was confusing and lacking decent signage. There seemed to be only one small elevator which required a key. The room size was ok for the king bed, but the furnishings needed updating. One light had a... more

I have stayed at the Fairfield at least 5 times over the last 12-18 months. I am in the area frequently on business and this hotel is in close proximity to my clients. The Fairfield is a "budget" property, yet until recently it was a great value. I generally don't complain and try to write positive reviews about my trips...however...there... more
