The Black Point Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The building and grounds overlook the water on Prout's Neck in Scarborough ME. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The common areas of the Inn were cozy and comfortable and reminded us of the wonderful Inns from the turn of the century. Everything at the Inn was in top notch... More

The Black Point Inn is one of the last traditional inns remaining on the coast of Maine. Although somewhat overpriced, this is a wonderful old hotel with breathtaking views of the ocean and access to the Cliff Walk. We had stayed here in years past before the rooms were “updated” and liked the old decor much more than the new,... More

I recently stayed at The Black Point Inn for my cousins wedding. It was a beautiful place with an amazing old wooden lobby. I had a wonderful time on the property, and loved how each room of the place was a little different. However, the front desk staff seemed a little burnt out. I had a interaction with one girl... Cute inn located on the water, across the water, and surrounded by water just outside old money Prout's Neck, ME. They have a wonderful golf course with many holes on the water and several tennis courts (sorry -- white attire only). Prices per night run anywhere from $ 500 on up to 4 digits.

Blackpoint Inn is nestled in between the bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The views are majestic and while we had a third floor room, the sea breezes were amazing from dawn to dusk. Our room was welcoming in a pale blue motif with white ruffled curtains and a King bed that was supreme. The entire complex is impeccable. Morning coffee... More

we recently stayed at the Black Point Inn, a spot we have revisited for over twenty years. If you're looking for beautiful ocean views, a staff that's professional, a top notch kitchen with different types of venues, relaxation and a perfect place, this it is. I can't recommend them highly enough. Not only is the staff and management led by... More

This was my aunt's dream destination. In August she and I took a 4-night escape to Black Point Inn. I was initially unsure that it would be worth the cost. I am pleased to say it was. It was wonderful! The location, setting, common rooms & services were top notch. Our renovated room with 2 queen beds was lovely, comfortable... More

This was my third visit to the Black Point and again, it was wonderful. They have a beautiful view overlooking the water and because of where they are situated they get a beautiful sunset. We stopped in the afternoon to have drinks on the deck and ended up staying for dinner as it was so beautiful and so relaxing. Their staff... More

We stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We sat outside and the view was beautiful. The lobster bisque was very tasty with loads of fresh lobster. The steamed mussels were amazing. We will definitely be going back!

Hard to imagine a finer setting. Sit on the porch and look over Scarborough's clam flats. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Washington on the horizon. The food is quite good. The service is chipper and efficient. A unique spot.
