we recently stayed at the Black Point Inn, a spot we have revisited for over twenty years. If you're looking for beautiful ocean views, a staff that's professional, a top notch kitchen with different types of venues, relaxation and a perfect place, this it is. I can't recommend them highly enough. Not only is the staff and management led by... More

This was my aunt's dream destination. In August she and I took a 4-night escape to Black Point Inn. I was initially unsure that it would be worth the cost. I am pleased to say it was. It was wonderful! The location, setting, common rooms & services were top notch. Our renovated room with 2 queen beds was lovely, comfortable... More

This was my third visit to the Black Point and again, it was wonderful. They have a beautiful view overlooking the water and because of where they are situated they get a beautiful sunset. We stopped in the afternoon to have drinks on the deck and ended up staying for dinner as it was so beautiful and so relaxing. Their staff... More

We stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We sat outside and the view was beautiful. The lobster bisque was very tasty with loads of fresh lobster. The steamed mussels were amazing. We will definitely be going back!

Hard to imagine a finer setting. Sit on the porch and look over Scarborough's clam flats. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Washington on the horizon. The food is quite good. The service is chipper and efficient. A unique spot.

Great place to check out live jazz and have a martini and appetizer on the deck overlooking the Atlantic. A very traditional lineup of gins (eg no Plymouth) but a small venue to sit either on the deck or lawn Adirondack chairs. A low key, rarified late afternoon 530-730 to enjoy local jazz artists.

When you pull up to this grand hotel it is quite impressive! The lobby is beautiful and charming and makes you feel as if you are in a time warp, but in a good way. The hotel sits on a pennisula so when you are there it is nice that they have a full service restaurnat. We saw Glenn CLose... More

I'll be returning for my fourth vistit to BPI. Each return is like the first! I'm always welcomed. I feel like a member of the "family". It's an incredible get-away to relaxation, pampering and good food. This is my fourth visit to BPI. It's like my first: I'm welcome, I'm family. It's a relaxing, restoring experience. I

If I imagined a beautiful, old Maine resort on the sea, it would look just like the Black Point Inn. A great place to unwind for a few days. The accommodations were fresh and comfortable. Both restaurants served excellent food. The clam chowder was indescribably delicious and the lobster roll was overflowing with tender chunks of lobster. There were plenty... More
