If the bathrooms would have been cleaner, we would have rated this campground 5 stars. Also, the rates are fairly high during season; we did get discounted rates for our October stay, making our rate very affordable. A sizeable discount is given for camping either early or late in the season. The sites are quite large, grassy, fairly level. The... More

We had a nice fall weekend camping trip here. We had one of the beachfront sites. It was nice waking up to the sun coming up over their small lake. The sites were a little close together and it was very tough backing around two trees at 9:00 at night to get into our spot. There is a lot going... More

We have stayed at Wassamki Springs three times in the past with a 31 foot RV, once up in the wooded section and twice on I5 which has larger sunny sites. We have never had a problem except some minor flooding of the grassy sites during heavy rains. The location is convenient to Old Orchard Beach, The Mall and even... More

Pros- The staff and food were great. People did settle down at quiet time. Cons - NO HOT WATER (much needed after Tough Mudder), campsites on top of each other, lied about there being a beach. Definately NOT worth the money paid

We were attending a wedding being held at the campgrounds and decided to arrive a day early and enjoy the weekend..overall had a great time... Pro's: very helpful and friendly staff, easy access/spacious lot for RV, nice little store with Gifford's ice cream, family friendly with plenty of playgrounds for kids, great place for family reunion - shaded areas, picnic... I have been going to Wassamski Springs for camping and swimming for over 40 years...My children are all young adults and all the years I spent on that beach with them, day after day. They always had fun and I knew they were safe; whether swimming..playing...or someone talking to them. For therevis also security personel for everyone's safety. This years... More

We camped for a week at this campground with 6 other campers. We all have large 5th wheel campers and had no problem getting into our spots. Lots of motor homes were also around so size isn't a problem. We were in the field area and there wasn't any shade to be found during the hottest week of the summer.... More

This isn't my ideal type of camping... there I said it. There are lots of campers, RV's and the place is set up to be a vactiony area for families. It's large and there are a lot of campsites which means a lot of people, I would not call it a trailer park but it kind of has that vibe.... More

We spent a week at Wassamki Springs in late July, traveling with 2 children and 2 small dogs. The facilities were well maintained, a staff rakes every campsite after each guest checks out. Your site is spotless upon your arrival. The campground provided many activities throughout the week, with live bands on the weekends, making for a great community experience!... More

Only stayed one night but the site was very good. Had a lovely spot next to the lake. Staff friendly and helpful. Camped with 30 foot RV. Site clean and with easy access. Small camp shop very handy. Friendly ducks.
