This campground has a beautiful lake with a beach, activities for adults and children, and a great Sunday breakfast for a reasonable fee. However, the camping sites were very close together, and all walking areas and camp sites were packed with sand. There was no way to keep it out of the car or the RV. I vacuumed and mopped... More

Beautiful RV Park!! The place is gorgeous and country and has a fantastic pond (or small lake) and the pull through site we had was great and spacious. On the down side - it is very expensive - 59 bucks a night for site with electric and water and sewer - with club discounts we usually pay 17 to 22... More

On our recent trip to Maine we stayed at five different campgrounds from Bar Harbor to Kennebunk. We stayed here for one night. The bathrooms and showers were not very clean. I am glad we weren't there on the weekend when they allow non-campers to come in and use the beach. There really was nothing special about the place. Maybe... More

This is a perfect family camping ground. Safe lake for swimming. Many large trees provide shelter for camping sites. Sites have full hook up available as well as other options. Bathroom facilities in our area let this camping ground down. They are old, and overdue for refurbishment. A mat outside the bathroom with a request to wipe feet prior to... More

I admit it. I am picky. But I have 2 questions. 1. What criterion is used by Good Sam Club and Woodalls to make their number ratings? Obviously these people are MUCH more generous and less particular than I am. And, 2. Why do people keep coming here and paying these exorbitant prices for a mediocre to poor RV park?... More

This is not really a "campground" per say. It's more like living in a weird version of suburbia. The sites are right.on.top.of.each.other. To say they are small, is an understatement. It seemed as if at least 1/2 of the sites are seasonal residents and the remaining sites are locals who weekend camp. I have never seen people who brought so... More

If the bathrooms would have been cleaner, we would have rated this campground 5 stars. Also, the rates are fairly high during season; we did get discounted rates for our October stay, making our rate very affordable. A sizeable discount is given for camping either early or late in the season. The sites are quite large, grassy, fairly level. The... More

We had a nice fall weekend camping trip here. We had one of the beachfront sites. It was nice waking up to the sun coming up over their small lake. The sites were a little close together and it was very tough backing around two trees at 9:00 at night to get into our spot. There is a lot going... More

We have stayed at Wassamki Springs three times in the past with a 31 foot RV, once up in the wooded section and twice on I5 which has larger sunny sites. We have never had a problem except some minor flooding of the grassy sites during heavy rains. The location is convenient to Old Orchard Beach, The Mall and even... More

Pros- The staff and food were great. People did settle down at quiet time. Cons - NO HOT WATER (much needed after Tough Mudder), campsites on top of each other, lied about there being a beach. Definately NOT worth the money paid
