On our way to Wells, ME we wanted to stay overnight instead of waiting to get to beach areas without a reservation. Not too far from highway. Family run business, big and clean rooms, tv, comfortable beds, great water pressure and plenty of hot water for shower. Breakfast was typical continental and plenty of bagels and juice Fresh food and... More

Sanford Inn, a little red inn nestled in the pines on Main St. in Sanford, is just what you need when you need to stay in Sanford. First of all, the location is well situated to Sanford and is nearby to grocery stores, coffee, and fast food---something that can be a bit of a problem when dealing with lodging in... More

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel close to North Berwick and took a chance on Sanford Inn. I got a room in the front near the office which was fine, less congested than the side/back part of the hotel. The room was of decent size and pretty comfortable. Bathroom was upgraded with new fixtures and had an upper window.... More

The hotel is older and the room wasn't fancy but it was very very clean! New tub and fixtures. We stayed in a room in the back part of the hotel. We arrived late and had to wake the manager but he was so nice! Bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and clean. Great value. Bed was very comfortable and mini fridge and microwave were very convenient. Motel was a little drive from the beach, but the area is quiet and affordable which is a nice trade off.

Sanford inn is a Classical motel with acceptable room. Size of room is good. Wifi is available. Continental breakfast is included (basic breakfast and coffee is horrible) but Beach is only a 30' drive It is a good compromise between location and price

We selected this Inn on line, as it was about half way from our trip start in upstate NY to Mid-Coast, Maine. Reserved for going and coming back. First time, room was OK....nothing exceptional, except did have a fridge. TV didn't work and had to get housekeeper to find someone to make it work. On coming back trip, we were... More

If you need a place to sleep and shower this is the place for the money. Looked at a few places in the area and they were way over priced. Its clean and in a great location, close to ocean and plenty of places to eat. I would recommend it to my friends and would stay here again.
