I was looking for a place to stay close to Cape Elizabeth. My husband and I always feel that we get great value and a super night's sleep at any Hampton. Many reviewers state that this one is near an industrial area. This didn't cause any problems for us and we felt we had Hampton Quality with a great price.... more

The hotel was very worn! Definitely not up to other Hampton Inns that we have stayed at. Shower\tub would not drain therefore you were standing in dirty water at the end of your shower. Room in general was showing alot of age and wear and tear on it. Spoke with (MGR) and she said she was sorry it had been... more

I stayed at this hotel driving from Bar Harbor to Boston. This property amazed me in terms of the value for money. I cite the following: -The rooms are suite-like, with a nice couch in the room and a generally great lay-out. -The rooms were modern and well appointed (noting the bathroom was an unusual square shape with a very... more

Went here on a business trip with husband from a Thursday till Monday afternoon. I loved the room, thought it was well equipped, decorated nicely, clean and it looked recently renovated. You get a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning and can bring it to your room or eat it in the dining area. They allow you to use the... more

I've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Saco on several occasions now and the stay has been consistently excellent. The room is always clean and the hotel itself is the same. More than anything else, though, both my husband and I have been greatly impressed with the friendly, helpful, professional staff at this hotel. They don't assume we know about... more

Room was a little shabby for my high standards. I read on Tripadvisor that it was modern but it really is an older hotel that has been patched up here and there to make it more acceptable. An example would be the bathroom which reminded me of a cruise ship's bathroom with its small size and bare minimal style. The... more

The website for this hotel says that it accepts pets on a limited basis which makes it "pet friendly." That's nice-- I lke pets and I have a pet, a cat. Unfortunately, they do not you that they will place you on a "pet-floor" where the room might contain leftover kibble on the floor and where you will have swollen... more

I have never stayed at a Hampton Inn chain before and I travel often for business. This was actually a weekend get away. End of July in Maine is VERY busy we didnt check in until 1030 at night and lobby was still active. The rooms were big and spacious. The beds were great. Big comfy with great blankets and... more

All the hotels in Portland happend to be full, so we went to Saco, only a few minutes away. Free breakfast was typical of Hampton Inn - with hot foods as well. Very nice. more

Excellent hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and went above and beyond the normal requirements to facilitate a late check-in under adverse circumstances due to a cancelled flight. The breakfast options were quite good, and we have absolutely no complaints. A great value for the money, especially compared to other, more expensive hotels in the Portland area. more
