Overnight with our two little dogs in a nice first floor bedroom was most pleasant. Darlene gave us a tour of the premises, including billiard table, outdoor hottub, beer in the fridge and cake. The room was cozy, mattress good and hard, the sink in the room was elegant and the bathroom serviceable. The in-room tv was small but sufficient... More

I was on a solo trip to Sunday River ski resort. The Perennial inn was a clean Bed and Breakfast. I felt like a family member more than a guest. I was invited to enjoy the food and drinks they had available. I was invited to make myself at home- so I did. I played the piano, played pool and... More

I stayed here a year ago and I am reminded of it often, what the weather there is doing or how much snow they may have. My stay was in Sept and the foliage was beautiful. They have a few pigs, chickens and goats too. The views were amazing and the owner was very nice. This was my first stay... More

We stayed at the Perennial for just one evening recently and had a fantastic time! Darlene was very accommodating--we had our 11 year old son and our dog with us and she made us feel like family. She had mini-whoopie pies and beverages available for us in the evening while we played a game of billiards (love the game room!)... More

Based on these reviews and their website, I was really looking forward to our stay at the Perennial Inn. I don't know how something could be SOOO far from what it appears to be based on internet reviews but it was. Yes, there were thoughtful touches like pumpkin bread and brownies but that did little to improve our stay. The... More

We would like to say thank-you for sharing your thoughts in this review though we are sorry you were disappointment in your stay at the Perennial Inn. It is always difficult to know you didn't meet someone’s expectations. Unfortunately, we are all human and apparently we became too complacent. Your review reminded us, to be more in tune with our... Our family of five (2 + 3 twenty-something "kids") spent three unforgettable nights at this warm and welcoming inn. The fact that it poured almost the entire time did not dampen our mood nor our spirits thanks to the cozy surroundings and warm welcome extended to us by Jenna and Darlene, who could not do enough for us. We were... More

My husband, 4 year old, 5 month old and myself had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Perennial Inn. Darlene and Jenna have thought of everything!! Fire pit, supplies for making smores, complimentary wine (and great local beer!), and a hot tub. They also added some little extra touches for our stay: cute little kids face clothes and put... More

The Perennial Inn is a short drive away from numerous outdoor adventures, antique shops and charming pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. (Which rarely happens at a B&B) From the warm blueberry bread and quiche to the locally made sausage- everything was simply outstanding. What a fabulous way to start the day after a restful nights... My wife and I stayed for 2 nigths in late October 2011. It is set in the rolling hills of western Maine, smack between Bethel and Rumford, appr 11miles in either direction. This means driving a bit after dinner, but also that "getting away from it all" is virtually guaranteed here. Note that this is a working farm, with a... More

Not quite what I expected. Visitors should know that it is a small working farm in an old but somewhat renovated farmhouse. Children would be delighted with the pigs and cows but I really wasn't. Rooms were very clean and the bathroom in the Sage was recently renovated. Hosts were friendly. Price was appropriate.
