I blindly trusted a link on the Camden International Film Festival web page and they didn't steer me wrong. The whole Camden area can get shockingly expensive. Like Manhattan expensive if you are in foliage season and you try to get too fancy. The rooms are pretty spacious and clean. And there's a big fridge. The remote control for my... more

We stayed at the Country Inn for almost a week when one of us studied at the Maine Media Workshop. The room was large and comfortable, everything was clean, the staff was pleasant. Everything was fine. We did not use the pool, but saw a lot of people enjoying themselves in it. more

Margaret is absolutely right that every guest deserves clean sheets and a well cleaned room, in my view no matter what the rate; to this end we are reviewing cleaning and inspection procedures to be sure a similar event does not occur in future. We are organized to be able to provide guest assistance at any hour even though the...

We just got back to Louisville, KY from our stay at the Country Inn. I shared a cottage suite with my wife , son 19 & daughter 22. We found the cottage comfortable for the four of us. It had a small microwave, small fridge, table & chairs and TWO TVS. Each room had separate wall thermostats. My son &... more

During our stay at the Country Inn a convicted sex offender was able to gain access to the indoor pool and spa where he made contact with my teenager. This offender would have walked right past the front desk on entry. I contacted the owner (and the Rockport Police) to explain what had happened. He did not acknowledge my letter,... more

When this incident was reported in January, I immediately took steps, both in house and with the local police, to ensure that the individual in question would be barred from our property in future,. We take our guests' needs very seriously and make every effort to provide a safe and secure environment; to meet our goal of perfection in this regard...

We were so excited about staying here after reading about the cookies, afternoon tea, continental breakfast and seeing how lovely the rooms looked on their website. I think the website offers an accurate description and depiction of the rooms, and the cookies and breakfast were wonderful! My boys (10 and 12) loved this place and didn't want to leave. They... more

I would like to thank this guest for pointing out problem with their bed. We investigated and found that box spring supports had fallen out of place which resulted in deflection of the mattress and spring. It has been repaired.

Just got back from a wonderful 10 day stay at the Country Inn. We were very impressed as soon as we arrived with the condition and quality of the inn. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful at all times. We stayed in a "cottage" behind the main building, which was in a lovely setting among trees and... more

My husband and I just recently spent a weekend at The Country Inn. The staff was fantastic. We had the fireplace suite which was absolutely adorable. Everything was clean. The choc. chip cookies were not only a nice touch, but they were sooo yummy! I would return to this place in an instant. Everyone was so friendly. The breakfast was... more

We just rerurned from our trip to Maine, where we stayed this time at The Country Inn at Camden-Rockport. It is conveniently located just a minutes drive from both towns, with easy access to all other surrounding villages. This is a clean, well-maintained establishment, with comfortable, private inn rooms. They also have nearby cottages, as well, for even more privacy.... more
