This was my second stay at The Ledges. I chose it based on a great experience there the first time, and was not disappointed this trip. The Ledges is a small motel conveniently located on Route One in Rockport, between Rockland and Camden (just a few miles from each). Nearly all rooms overlook the ocean. The only reason I gave... more

This motel looked like a dream come true, atleast on the web site. My room had a horrible smell, like something had died in it, the bed was very uncomfortable, and I thought privacy was an issue. The two windows only had blinds on them and there were gaps where you would be able to see into the room and... more

I have stayed at the Ledges maybe 3 or 4 times. I love staying here for it's location, friendly service, and "at home atmosphere." It's clean, offers make your own breakfast, has quiet surroundings and is very reasonable. This is a great little Hotel in a great location, for a very reasonable price. more

The Ledges is right off of Route 1. The quiet and beauty of the grounds is an unexpected pleasure. My room was very clean and bright and cheery with a private balcony facing the ocean. Each room has a coffee pot and fridge so you don't have to run out in the morning to get coffee and breakfast, which gives... more

Everything was wonderful. We have been coming to Maine for years and this was the best hotel we have stayed at. Much better than some of the more expensive inns. Room and amenities were great. View was beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely stay here in the future. more

Travelling through Maine in October can be expensive. I wanted a spot that was affordable, but also with a view of the water and with easy access to Camden Hills and Rockport Maine. Ledges by the Bay was perfect. I selected my room on line a couple days before I arrived. The room was very pretty, comfortable, and had a... more

I come up to Rockport for a conference every year, and I don't bother calling anyone else. It's minutes from any major spot from The Samoset to Ducktrap. The rooms are always spotless & well appointed, and the view of the ocean from the back deck is breath taking. more
