Stayed in a one bedroom timeshare unit and the views are absolutely beautiful. The restaurants in the resort are great and inexpensive with wonderful food. The Italian buffet was especially nice. The Samoset Resort is a great oceanfront resort in Rockport, Maine. It's convenient to all the attractions of Penobscot Bay and offers all the amenities of a major resort - restaurants, health club, gift shop, golf, etc. The rooms could use some updating but overall it's a great place to stay if you're visiting this part of Maine. more
