We stayed at The Granite Inn on the heels of a blizzard, and while we found plenty to do around Rockland we would have been content just staying in at The Granite Inn. Comfortable room, classy decor and sumptuous breakfast. Just perfect!

The inn was easy to deal with on line, the welcome and room were elegant, the surroundings were handsomely designed, worthy of study. The breakfasts were different every day, with fresh fruits, fine cooked treats and local roasted coffee. The cornmeal pancakes one morning were textured, tender and savory..
