Perfect location to walk Rockland's Pies on Parade. Room was large, clean and very comfortable except for the uneven heating system. Patricia is the best asset to the Inn - always ready to help. More

I stayed at the Captain Lindsey House with my two daughters when I was in Rockland and absolutely loved it! The inn has a warm and comfortable elegance. We felt right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Patricia, the innkeeper suggested things to see & do in the area. The breakfast was fantastic and the afternoon tea was... More

My wife and I stayed at the Capt. Lindsay for three nights. It was wonderful. The rooms, food, decor were thrilling. Everything was clean and neat. Patricia, the innkeeper made an outstanding breakfast. Ellen, the owner was a delight. Will stay there again. More

We knew we would love it, from the moment I called for a reservation. We had booked a large king room, #6. It was perfect. Filled with joy, antiques and love. We cannot say enough about the cleanliness, of this inn. The breakfasts were amazing. The special treats they left out, in the late afternoon, looked like they came out... More

We spent 2 nights at the Captain Lindsey house in early August 2011. The room was beautiful as well as clean and comfortable. The Captain Lindsey House is conveniently located in the middle of downtown. Previous reviews noted the hospitality of the hosts. They seemed kind enough but we didn't see them other than at breakfast one of the two... More
