We stayed here for the lobster Fest. It was a little pricey but expected for the location and the event. I enjoyed the concert at the lobster Fest but was kinda disappointed with the rest. BUT we had a great time because of the staff here at the Navigator. We had everything we needed and they gave us the insight... More

We are a military couple. We travel a lot. We were on vacation and stayed 3 nights during the Lobster Fest 2014. EXpect a motel 6 with a little extra room and a balcony. But not the price. It's nearly $200 per night. It's in the center of Rockland so that's their ticket for the high prices. Musty smell, ripped... More

This lodging is satisfactory. All core needs for a lodging are fine. The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is very good. It is by no means fancy, but is very reasonably priced. A few blocks from the Farnsworth and several nice restaurants, and across the street from the ferry.

I was so excited to get to Rockland and to stay at the Navigator since it sounded so nice and the woman on the phone was so friendly. Because it seemed so nice, we decided to splurge for the almost $170 per night, which we NEVER spend on a hotel/motel. Here is what we found. Virtually no lobby. Very, VERY... More

We stayed the night before the Lobsta Fest started with no reservations. The only had 2 pet friendly rooms left. We loved the 4th floor and view of the harbor. Location was good too. Prices were what you would expect to pay for a busy summer event. Room was clean, very spacious with fridge and microwave. I highly recommend. Karen... More

First time here. No pool, lotion or electronic room keys. But location is great. Especially if you want to walk to the ferry. Wonderful town to walk and explore. Staff is friendly, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast room is too small, but it worked. No fresh fruit or yogurts, quiche and other items homemade, but different. Had to ask for hair... More

Location, Location, Location, Now I'm a local sort of, I live on Vinalhaven Island "Maine.". Some people may not like it." I do !" It's a reasonable price for a normal family on a vacation. I'm not going to say it's a 5 star kind of room. If something is not right, I know that your needs will be attended... More

Although the Rockland Chamber assured us that this hotel was nice and clean and had a lovely water view I do not recommend it. The staff was nice and friendly but the hotel is tired and in need of much updating although they told us they are in the process of renovating. The carpet was filthy, the air conditioning did... . No cars in the lot for a nice location on the bay. We had looked at the website, booked it. We try to stay away from chain hotels a little. Upon arrival we looked at the room but wouldn't stay. It was dark and dingy, a bit like the basement. They offered us a different room on the next... More

Stayed in a ground floor room for one night. The room was very old, dirty and dated but the bed was ok and the breakfast was good. The location is great as it is right on the main street and on the harbor.
