We stayed here one night. Nice clean place. Great view facing the harbor. Short walking distqnce to downtown. Continental breakfast is the usual with 'ready to heat and eat* quish that is very good. Very pleasent wellcome staff. WIFI was average speed.

Since we would only be in Maine overnight I chose the Navigator Inn. Very close to downtown ,(across the street from the ferry to Vinylhaven). The girl at the desk was very nice, even though my online booking hadn't registered, she booked me , gave me a great deal (Booking.com vs AAA). The rooms are a little dated but clean... More

The hotel is being converted to condos and is run down and dirty. The units on the second floor are already for sale. The rooms and corridors are filthy and the balconies don't look safe, we avoided using it. This hotel is not worth the money.

VERY expensive (106 dollars !!!!) for a room on ground floor (without any view), paintings not finished, principal door with a broken lock, door shared with the next room impossible to close, shower curtain with traces of mold..... When I explain that to the lobby the morning after, they didn't care! Ok, bad review!!!

We stayed here for the lobster Fest. It was a little pricey but expected for the location and the event. I enjoyed the concert at the lobster Fest but was kinda disappointed with the rest. BUT we had a great time because of the staff here at the Navigator. We had everything we needed and they gave us the insight... More

We are a military couple. We travel a lot. We were on vacation and stayed 3 nights during the Lobster Fest 2014. EXpect a motel 6 with a little extra room and a balcony. But not the price. It's nearly $200 per night. It's in the center of Rockland so that's their ticket for the high prices. Musty smell, ripped... More

This lodging is satisfactory. All core needs for a lodging are fine. The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is very good. It is by no means fancy, but is very reasonably priced. A few blocks from the Farnsworth and several nice restaurants, and across the street from the ferry.

I was so excited to get to Rockland and to stay at the Navigator since it sounded so nice and the woman on the phone was so friendly. Because it seemed so nice, we decided to splurge for the almost $170 per night, which we NEVER spend on a hotel/motel. Here is what we found. Virtually no lobby. Very, VERY... More

We stayed the night before the Lobsta Fest started with no reservations. The only had 2 pet friendly rooms left. We loved the 4th floor and view of the harbor. Location was good too. Prices were what you would expect to pay for a busy summer event. Room was clean, very spacious with fridge and microwave. I highly recommend. Karen... More

First time here. No pool, lotion or electronic room keys. But location is great. Especially if you want to walk to the ferry. Wonderful town to walk and explore. Staff is friendly, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast room is too small, but it worked. No fresh fruit or yogurts, quiche and other items homemade, but different. Had to ask for hair... More
