We found Waterman on a couple of sites, and although it didn't have many reviews, decided to try it out for a two night stay after a 4 day cruise on a Maine Windjammer. My husband and I had a great stay at the waterman house! It was perfect from start to finish, the room was so comfortable with the roomy shared bath right down the hall, short walk to downtown rockland for the blues festival. We enjoyed our stay at Waterman House with our young kids. The house is well-appointed and lovely. Great places to curl up in with a book. Short walk to Main Street cafes and the owners were knowledgeable about area sights to see with our children. The B & B is close to the action, in the middle of a great water town, lobsters, light houses, rock walls and galleries. The gardens were lovely and I actually had some tomatoes from them. The price - $100/night - was right so we took a chance. Big mistake. When we arrived, we were greeted be a real estate agent showing our room to a lovely family of 5.
