My mother and I stayed here for two nights in early December in celebration of my 50th birthday. Frank and PJ were warm, friendly hosts. Our room (Turret) was spacious and comfortable (I especially enjoyed the old-fashioned soaking tub). The whole inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The breakfasts were ample and delicious. The inn was extremely clean--and I have very high standards with regard to cleanliness, so not many places would rate this... More

My daughter and I checked into the Limerock Inn on November 25th for a quick Mother/Daughter escape and what a wonderful escape this beautiful Inn and it's charming hosts provided us. The Inn was decorated in it's holiday finery both inside and out. Frank & PJ greeted us warmly and showed us to our room. which was just lovely. We enjoyed to the fullest Rockland's weekend of festivities ushering in the Christmas season and because... More

For years now, I had been desiring a romantic overnight getaway with my husband. This year (and in this tough economy) we managed to save up enough money for 1 night at a nice B&B as a very special birthday present. We had someone who was available to watch our children, so all was set for my birthday getaway. We were both very eager for this rare 'vacation' (the last B&B visit we had was... More

At LimeRock Inn, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, and we learned from this experience that even after 7 years in the affirmative this may not always be possible. We received an internet reservation request for our last room for the Saturday night of a sold-out holiday weekend. Note: This review was written by the wife of the individual we have recorded as making the reservation. Here is our cancellation policy as prominently displayed on... More

Lovely inn, conveniently located within walking distance of downtown. Frank and PJ are wonderful hosts. We had a lovely time getting to know them. We won’t stay anywhere else in Rockland. More

We loved our summer stay at the LimeRock Inn - great rooms, very clean and comfortable with great charm. Frank and PJ are great hosts (and cooks!) and have a genuinely laid back, welcoming and friendly vibe without being overbearing - like other innkeepers can be ;-) It was great to be able to walk to restaurants and shopping - such a perfect location! We'll be back! More

Despite a very late arrival following a harrowing drive throug the downpours of last Friday night, we were warmly welcomed into the inn by Frank and PJ who doned raingear to assist us in with our luggage. When we settled into the Island Cottage Room we felt immediately at home and well cared for.as`we had felt during earlier visits. Saturday greeted us with sunshine and one of the Inn's wonderful breakfasts. My husband worked on... More

If you've looked at the extensive website you know pretty much what you're going to get here - a beautifully restored and maintained "Victorian" . We stayed in the turret room with a great bathroom and enjoyed our single night stay . As with all B&Bs its the people that run it that really make or break them and this is indeed run by easy-to-like enthusiasts. We got help with the bags, a detailed run-down... More

I don't know how they do it, but PJ and Frank made us feel like we were coming home. (That is, if "home" is a perfectly appointed restored Queen Anne inn.) We stayed again in the Island Cottage room. It's more country French than other rooms which suits us perfectly. Overlooking the gardens and gazebo with private entrance and three exposures, I almost hated to leave it to go sightseeing. Breakfasts were yummy and our... More

Rockland is a gem and Frank and PJ's B and B was just great. It was convenient to the Farnsworth Museum and the Strand Theater - both of which were wonderful. The Lime Rock Inn was just what we needed. We were met with warmth and comfort and the rooms reflected that. The breakfasts were very special and appreciated. Relaxed elegance made this such a fun place to stay. The town was very hip and... More

We recently took advantage of the "September to Remember" package at the LimeRock Inn and were glad that we added on a 4th night as well. Frank and PJ definitely have turned their elegant, historic inn into a very comfortable and welcoming B & B. Frank's breakfasts were superb and varied every morning. We received wonderful recommendations from our hosts for dinner spots as well. Each day we found a different, yet nearby location to... More
