This is a very nice inn. If you have plans in Rockland, and want a clean, comfortable B&B with super-friendly and helpful hosts, this place is for you. Each room is different, and the common areas are comfortable, with couches, TV, fireplace, and computer available. The house itself is beautiful, although it's located on a somewhat ordinary sidestreet in Rockland, so if you want to have a view of the water, or be right in... more

A must stay if your in the Rockland area. Friendly hosts delivering great service. You won't find many Queen Ann Victorians like this one. Met all of our expectations. Breakfast was a special treat. more

We arrived on my wifes birthday, having been disappointed in a previous B&B choice. The Innkeepers went beyond the call of duty to make us welcome and we decided to extend our stay to three days. We are English travellers and have visited the US from Washington State to Louisiana usually selecting B&S s so we can " meet the local people ". Without a doubt this is the finest B&B we have stayed in... more

A super-clean B and B just two blocks from Rockland's main street in a Queen Anne Victorian. The couple who maintain the Inn are super friendly. Even disarmingly so, in the case of one man. Decoration is high on the paisley, purple and green, so not for those who like a different sort of atmosphere, but it COULDN'T be more comfortable. The hosts generously weren't booked for the night, so gave me a nicer room... more

The vacation was a mother-daughter (college art major) tour of small art museums through the Northeast -- most importantly the Farnsworth as we have ties to the Wyeths through the Brandywine River Museum in PA. The Limerock Inn provided the perfect accommodations for this type of trip. Frank and PJ were the perfect hosts -- friendly without being intrusive. . . and the pancakes were the best I've ever eaten! more

I just returned from a trip to Rockland, Maine where I stayed at the Limerock Inn. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling in the area based on the location of the inn, the service, and the actual facility, which is abundantly charming. There is a peaceful and serene gazebo in the spacious backyard in addition to a large, comfortable front porch which is ideal for relaxing while enjoying the plantings, flowers, and... more
