My husband and I just had an idyllic winter getaway at LimeRock. While it snowed outside, we enjoyed wine by the fire in the inn's beautiful front parlor then walked downtown for a delicious dinner at Inn Good Company, based on PJ's recommendation. We awoke to the smell of fresh croissants and coffee drifting up from the dining room. We... More

I just returned from a fabulous weekend at the LimeRock Inn. Frank and PJ are the best hosts. Stayed in the cottage room which could be cold. However, there was an extra heater in the room which kept it warm. Breakfasts were very tasty and different every day. I love the coffee and soda that is available any time. They... More

My husband and I stayed here in September 2014 for one night as we traveled in Maine. We were greeted by one the owners and he was very nice. I did notice right away that the parlors were decorated in a very eclectic style and were overdone. Too much furniture with no real theme. Our room was upstairs and upon... More

Sometimes we’re just left speechless. We’re truly sorry this guest had such a seemingly poor experience. And as always, our only regret is that they did not mention their dissatisfaction to us at the time of their stay. We would never want someone to be so unhappy and would gladly have let them out of their commitment. We are a... More

We recently stayed at the fantastic Limerock Inn. Frank & PJ greeted us and we instantly felt right at home. Our room was gorgeous and quite comfy. The breakfasts were wonderful! Frank is an excellent cook! We enjoyed the restaurant recommendations from PJ. Downtown Rockland was a nice short walk from the inn and Is full of quaint little shops... More

This was a Christmas present for my GF.We arrived and were greeted by one of the owners. We were told the heat is turned down during the day, then comes back up mid afternoon.Well, that didn't happen. We stayed in the Grand Manan room which is the most expensive in the inn.We were given one fire log which doesn't give off... At LimeRock Inn, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction. So, we are disappointed when that does not happen. Like humanity itself, our guest’s needs cover a spectrum. So, we do not attempt to presuppose whether a guest is warm or cold natured. Even in winter, we have some guests sleep with a window open or close the radiator in their... More

We've stayed in a number of B&B's in the Rockland area, but the LimeRock Inn is the clear winner. The building is beautifully restored, the innkeepers are friendly and appropriately solicitous and the breakfast was excellent. It's a clean, comfortable and inviting. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Innkeepers, Frank & PJ, are so welcoming, it is as if they are long-lost friends! The LimeRock Inn is so inviting from the outside, and so comfortable on the inside. We could not decide on which room to stay in because each offered is so beautiful ... we split our trip in to one night in the Island Cottage and... More

We came to the area for a friend's wedding and added an extra day. We have stayed at the LimeRock Inn several times already, and it is our destination of choice. We love the local restaurants and the Farnsworth Museum, and it is nice to walk around. Frank and PJ are consummate innkeepers! They are always welcoming and gracious. It... More

Frank & PJ gave us such a wonderful stay! We stayed for 2 nights in August. It was my boyfriend's first time staying in a b&b and he was a bit weary. Well it was a GREAT introduction for him, and he is no longer nervous about staying. They made us feel like we were staying in their house and we... More

We stayed for one night in October and really enjoyed our stay. PJ and Frank were very kind and hospitable. Breakfast was delicious! The sheets on the bed were so comfy. The inn is a short walk from downtown and we enjoyed a great dinner at Cafe Miranda at their recommendation.
