Take a rare and once grand historic country inn, add a young entrepreneur with plenty of ideas and just as much energy. What do you get? New life for a venerable Maine landmark property! Travis has accomplished a near miracle in purchasing the inn last year and having it up and running smoothly during this summer season. Taking a careful... More

During our trip in New England we stayed one night at the Rangeley Inn; it was an unforgettable stay. From the moment we saw the hotel from afar, we were taken by its beauty. We had a King room at the inn, it was a corner room with lots of light, a table and chairs, wonderful bathroom and just a... More

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed a weekend visit and took advantage of canoe and kayak, tavern, lovely lobby and sitting room. A comfortable hotel to make the best of your visit in the wilderness.

Stayed here one night in March after my wife, son, and I had a bad experience six or eight years ago. Wanted to give it another try after hearing about the new ownership. I am a regular Rangeley visitor summer and winter. HUGE improvement over our previous trip. Food in the pub was very good. Only minor glitch was when... More

The Rangeley Inn lobby was beautiful with its original charm. We had a two night stay in one of the Inn's lodge rooms. We had a comfortable sitting room and large bedroom with king size bed and french doors that opened to a wrap around porch. The calm pond, sunrise and sunset view from the bedroom and porch were magnificent;... More

We had eaten at the Pour House in the Inn and were very pleased with the food. The lobby of the inn is beautiful--full of the charm of an 100-year-old inn. The room of many old inns aren't great--tired out rooms with odd layouts as electricity and plumbing are added through the years. But, our room (#45) was WONDERFUL!! Extremely... More

What a great surprise! Amazing accommodations at fair price! We had four different rooms with people arriving and leaving at different times, and Jennifer made the entire process from reservation to check out EASY! The tavern was terrific as well with innovative tasty cuisine sure to eclipse the highest expectations!

From the Nineteenth Century Photographs that range over the walls to the crisp white linen at table, the Rangeley Inn is a treasure for the senses. If you don't like a little creak in your vintage wood parlor floors, a bit of patina on your horse drawn sleigh, or views of an authentic backwoods lakeside village out your window, you... More

This hotel is excellent. Great combination of old time charm, but modern comfort. The rooms were great, clean and quiet. Very comfortable. The food in the tavern was outstanding. Great menu, great cuisine, and great local beer. This inn is worth visiting Rangley just to stay here. The staff is also extremely friendly, and welcoming.

My wife and I spent three nights at the Rangeley In February and were very impressed with the quality of the inn and the new owner, Travis who is welcoming and friendly. He clearly is doing all he can to make the Rangeley Inn a premier lodge. We have stayed there in the past and this was the best yet!The... More
