Location, location, location. This motel has it in spades, right on the lake with all the acoutrements that have been there for decades. Indeed, the hotel boasts that it remains like it was.... The second hand furniture, lights blown in the bathroom and on the deck, the list of supplies granted in the bathroom, poor lighting- this does not speak... More

My husband introduced me to the Rangeley Lakes area about 5 years ago and I absolutely fell in love with it! He has stayed at Town and Lake several times before (with his fishing buddies) over the years. Some of the rooms in the motel have a small kitchenette and when it's just the two of us, we stay in... I've stayed here three times while visiting Rangeley. Our friends rent a two bedroom cabin that is separate from the motel section, but all are right on Rangeley Lake. Every cabin and motel room has a lake view. The cabins can be rustic, but have all the amenities one would need including full kitchen facilities (with a dishwasher!) The living... More

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins. This cabin is right on Rangeley Lake, and has a gorgeous view. There was a covered porch to sit on while enjoying the view of the lake. This is a cabin, and the inside is exactly that. A wood burning fireplace, a living room with well used furniture, a kitchen... More

We have stayed here on two separate motorcycle trips through the area. Each time the staff was more than willing to accommodate us with a late arrivals and/or extra people. They were more concerned that we get settled into our cabin than they were about making sure we registered. Can't say enough good things.

just want everyone to know that if a major storm hits your region, and you are forced to cancel your reservation 2 days in advance because the transportation department said stay off the roads for your safety and clean up because of a major blizzard. This place does not care at all about your safety and will charge your card... More

We enjoyed our stay here this summer. Friendly staff, a full kitchen, fireplace and within 20 feet of the lake. Beach closely, canoes available free. Front porch with comfortable furniture to relax into and breath the mountain air. Convenient location, close to town and hiking trails. We look forward to going back soon.

Our cottage was very spacious and sitting on the deck listening to the loons was magical. We were given a fantastic rate as it was off season($150). Wood burning stove in the living room, large windows for watching the lake and fully stocked kitchen were all nice. when we checked in the dishwasher was full of the previous tenants dishes, the... My wife and I recently stayed in a cabin #18 at Town & Lake and we found it to be a great experience. It was literally 20 feet to the lake with great views!! We even got to watch float planes fly out and land which was pretty neat. At night we fired up the open face wood stove to... More
