My mother and I stayed here for one night while tracing my ancestors' footsteps in nearby Easton and Mars Hill. Stayed overnight - room was clean and comfortable. Typical older hotel in downtown. Restaurant was good but if you want the prime rib on Friday night, better get there very early. They were out by 6pm. But food was good both for dinner and breakfast and service was very friendly. Plenty of parking. more

I stayed here for two nights on business. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was more than adequate, and the staff was completely helpful and friendly at all times. The on-premises restaurant was a very good value. My wife's family lives nearby, and we will choose the northeastland when visiting the area. more

A classic early 20th century small-town hotel,and proud of it. (See the memorabilia displayed in the lobby) The rooms are decidedly dated, but clean ; and large enough to play basketball.The staff members are very courteous and helpful,and go well beyond what's required.
