I had booked this hotel and could pay at time of arrival so I planned an all cash weekend. When we got there they would not accept cash!!! Stay away from this place it is horrible! Musty smelling torn carpet in the stair ways. When we went to check out at 10 a.m. Sunday morning there was a sign on... More

I booked this hotel due to the fact that I wanted to come to Portland and get a change of scenery for night life. The outside wasn't much to look at but the inside was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, I am not sure who was running the front desk on the night of 03/08/2014... More

It was dirty beer left in fridge from previous occupant. Cleankiness poor. No person to check out with the next day.i will never ever stay there again. Ialsoo would nevrr recommend it.it is overpriced compared to other options in the area. You would be better served to stay by the mall or in Freeport.

I will never go to this place ever again. We ended up booking another hotel in the first five minutes of our arrival. The place stunk of mold and old tobacco and shame. This hotel makes the crack house in town seem like an upgrade. We found stains on the sheets and the blankets and dust on every crevice. The... More

I made the mistake of not checking trip advisor before I booked this place. Do not make the same mistake I made! This hotel is not a hotel, it's a moldy, horrifying, disgusting place that gives me the willies even thinking about. The moment you walk in the building it REEKS of mold. I had to take a puff of... All of the bad reviews you've read are 100% accurate. This place is really beyond scary, creepy and unsafe...and the smells are so bad. This place should be condemned and is not fit to rent hotel rooms to human beings. We made the mistake of not pre-booking a hotel room and when we arrived in the Scarborough/Portlant area and it... I tried to save a few bucks in Portland.....big mistake. For my $149 we got screwed. Box spring had undefinable stains on one side....and the corridor was just like in The Shining. I kept envisioning Jack Nicholson appearing at any moment with that maniacal grin on his face. We were in building 500. What a strange setup. All those buildings.... More

In this 200 room hotel, I think maybe 10 rooms may have been occupied. This room was not AWFUL, but let's just say... this is definitely not a luxury room. However, the wifi is functional, the room is clean (fresh bedding, towels, etc.), AC works, and staff is extremely helpful. However, it is a little delapidated, with an old TV... More

That's how my husband described this nightmare of a motel. We booked it based on their ad (should ALWAYS check Trip Advisor!!!) and after a late-evening arrival we knew we'd made a horrible mistake. The vile stench in the raggedy-carpet hallway should have warned us. We were put in Building 100, the first in the row of separate buildings behind... More

This place was horrific, and we stayed only because there wasn't any other places available. During our two day stay in Maine there happened to be something going on, and all the hotels and inns were full booked. The Inn at Portland was the first one in about 100 miles radius to have vacancys and it was getting late. We... More
