I was up in Portland for two days of work. I found positive reviews for the Wild Iris Inn on Tripadvisor, and noted the good price! The place is lovely. I had a full-size bed (very comfortable) and a private bath. I slept great! Breakfast was fresh & very tasty. THANK YOU for such a nice place to stay. I'll... more

I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay at the Wild Iris Inn. The rooms are cozy and comfortable and very quiet! There is a great little sitting area with all the amenities: hot water for tea and cocoa is always available and the biscotti is excellent! The location is excellent; you can easily walk to town and the art museum,... more

Cute little B&B. While not luxurious, it wasn't expensive either. Plus, they had everything you needed. Slippers, bathrobes, great breakfast, hair dryer, wifi and parking. We had the top floor room in the back - the least expensive room. It was super quiet, cozy and had 2 chairs. I only wish that they didn't have a TV in the common... more

For me, I was on business, I only needed a bed to sleep in and get good rest. But I experienced a LOT more. This was the cleanest Inn I've ever stayed in, no odors, surprisingly quiet, I slept like a baby. The coffee was incredible, the rolls were warm and tasty, the fruits were fresh. I had every amenity... more

Have stayed with my wife at this very comfortable Inn before, and this time was even better than ever. The friendly atmosphere hits you as soon as you enter the lobby and sense the unspoilt style of this house in a very convenient location near downtown Portland. Our room was lovely and all the little extra gifts on both the... more

We found the Wild Iris Inn to be in an excellent location so walking to downtown Portland was easy. Our room was quite small and the door to the bathroom would not stay shut because the latch was installed incorrectly. All other aspects of this B&B were pretty average. We found much better accommodations for the same or less money... more

We stopped here during our tour of New England. We were pleasantly surprised by this B and B. We found it to be excellent value with very smart rooms and a very nice feel. The host was extremely helpful. The breakfast was very nice. This is a well organised B and B with lots of recommendations of things to do... more

I found this inn listed online and it was a great find. I stayed in the Tulip Room, with a private bath. The room was wonderfully decorated and comfortable. There is a common living room and dining room, where breakfast is served each morning. I have no complaints. The house is wonderful older home, located close to town, on State... more

This is a good place to stay. The owner is very helpful and the accomodations were fine. The e was not a hot breakfast. The bathroom is not "en suite", but since they were not full we didn't have to share. One caveat though, we did have to carry our stuff to the third floor more
