We stayed for 2 nights on our visit through New England. Our room was comfortable and well decorated. The staff was friendly, helpful and assisted us in dinner reservations and made great recommendations on things to do in the area. We would love to visit your Inn again and will be sure to recommend it to our friends visiting the... More

It was very spacious and comfortable. The food was great and it was there when you get up. It was in a very central place. Every body there were friendly and kind. More

Stay with Diane and you will get simply the best experience. The Inn is clean, comfortable, environmently friendly, but still cosy. The breakfast is superb, with her home made breads and muffins and fresh fruit. I was in the Daisy room - a bright and very quiet room at the back of the Inn, overlooking the garden. Diane went out... More

My husband and I spent two nights here in April, and we had a wonderful stay. The B&B is very charming and the details to the flower theme is great. It was also nice to see such an eco-friendly small business. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and I loved having an in-suite bathroom. We were within a 15-20 min walk... More

Cozy, charming, good coffee, nice display for breakfast. Bed in The Lilac Room was squeaky and uncomfortable. Bathroom was very hot...too much heat. Perhaps another room would be better. More

Visiting Portland for a rehearsal dinner and wedding, we just hoped to find something simple and within our budget. We were very pleasantly surprised! This is a very comfortable AND special place, convenient to all of the many attractions in Portland. Loved that we could help ourselves to tea (and homemade biscotti) any time. Really looking forward to making a... More

I stayed here one night, and overall we liked it. The neighborhood is not great -- it did not feel dangerous, just a little run-down. But it is within walking distance of some of the shops in downtown Portland. The road it is on is a little noisy at night, since it's a main road, at least for the front... More

My spouse and I had a very pleasant stay over President's Day weekend. We like to explore on foot, and the location of the Inn, on a busy thoroughfare leading towards the arts district, worked well for this. Our room on the third floor was cheerful, charming, and spotless, and the bed was comfortable. One slight aggravation: Our private bath was... More
