We wanted to stay in Portland within walking distance of downtown and chose the Mercury Inn. They do it right! The Inn had character, with a comfy bed and a fantastic breakfast. I had the pleasure of seeing Mercury Inn before it was renovated, so walking in to see the new modern look was an incredibly pleasant surprise. Everything resonated with me, with subtle hints towards Portland's nautical industries, while highlighting the beautiful victorian architecture of the building and somehow presenting it all in a modern package it all comes together perfectly....
