Clean, spacious and a great breakfast. Good location near all the action of downtown Portland. Only negative is small parking lot, difficult to maneuver out of. Lots of nice touches, David really values his guests

In Portland's West End. An 1800's townhouse once owned by Mr. Morrill who started B&M Baked Beans. Beautiful, large rooms. Very quiet. There are 8 rooms total, and we ended up staying in 3 of them over four nights (our choice not theirs). All were terrific and comfortable. Sitting areas on each floor. Coffee and tea 24/7 with cookies or... More

Cozy B&B just a 15 min walk to downtown. My Fiancee and I stay here for 3 nights and everything was great. Nice room with plenty of space and great attention to detail and amazing breakfasts every morning. Just a short walk to some great restaurants and 10-15 min walk to downtown. Also the bed was very comfortable.

Just an outstanding B&B overall. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style - but don't let that deter you. The food is remarkable. Healthy choices as well as decadent choices. I sampled both. The proprietors know what they are doing and have everything covered that you would expect in a B&B. Good location. We walked to the harbor area for... More

We stayed here for 1 night and it was very nice. The whole town is walkable and the host gave great food advice. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and delicious with homemade baked goods. The only warning is that the parking is tight, so don't bring your truck!

Dave the Innkeeper was a very congenial host and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. The B&B is about a 5 minute drive from the old port section. The room as very comfortable with a wonderful shower and beautiful antiques. You could tell that Dave has a designers touch in fitting out the room. We stayed in... More

Such a lovely place to stay. David was so helpful and made wonderful breakfasts every morning. The place is clean and comfortable and our room was delightful. Cookies and goodies made available every afternoon. Close enough to walk to some great restaurants as well as to Commercial Street where it all happens :) Would definitely stay again. Thanks for everything... More

We had a wonderful experience celebrating our first wedding anniversary in Portland. This was in large part due to our stay at the Morrill Mansion, and the hospitality showed to us by David. We were greeted right away by David and given a map of the area and suggestions on where to dine in Portland. He was very knowledgeable about... More

We stayed for two nights and it was absolutely fabulous. David the owner was very welcoming and had great knowledge of the area. The buffet breakfast in the morning was top notch. Very delicious and plentiful. The room had everything that you would need. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet at night and you could walk to... More

Nice room and clean . Place is very quite. Cookies on the second floor seating area and planned on getting after dinner. But they were all gone when we came back. :-(. There is also a DVD collection of one wanted to watch a movie which is a nice option to have. David was very friendly and helpful. Was worried... More
