The Morrill Mansion is perfect! We will be staying there for the third time in March of 2015. The place is immaculate with much attention devoted to detail. The breakfasts are superb! Our favorite is the lovely egg and lobster breakfast dish. Also, they serve homemade pastries that are devine! Each guest has his or her own private parking spot.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here 2 nights recently. He had a residency interview at Maine Medical Center. This was one of the places the hospital recommended for close accommodation at a great rate. It sure was! The mansion is steps away from the hospital, literally a 2 minute walk; you can see it from the mansion. Not a busy... More

We spent a night at Morrill's place. What a surprise! The room was awesome and comfy, so was the bathroom. The decoration of the house was really cute and the owner helpful and nice. The breakfast was healthy and Morrill's muffins were succulent. If you stay in Portland, you must give it a try !

My husband and I recently spent a Friday and Saturday night at Morrill Mansion and really enjoyed ourselves! Every detail was taken care of - and there were so many nice extra touches that we appreciated. This B&B was a building from the 1800's renovated with tasteful charm as well as functionality. Our room was comfortable - the bed was... More

We had a delightful stay in this bed and breakfast. We lived in Portland 10 years ago and wanted to return to our neighborhood to see how the city has changed. We didn't know this B&B existed and we were surprised by how wonderful and down to earth it was. I was won over simply by all the snacks scattered... More

I am a 4th yr medical student galavanting around the northeast US on residency interviews. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Morrill Mansion when recommended by Maine Medical Center Staff and stayed 3 nights. The 'breakfast buffet' food was SO unbelievably good here. I'm talking fresh strawberries, fresh eggs, handmade pastries (including pumpkin spice bread, cinnamon pastry thingy that... More

As frequent B&B travelers, we are very familiar with what to expect for a given stay. Our host, David, and the Mansion exceeded those expectations with ease. From the moment we entered the double set of doors until we departed for the weekend, our stay was comfortable, pleasant and accommodating. David and his staff provided an atmosphere where we felt... My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Morrill Mansion. We were expecting it to be good but it was fantastic. The first impressions of the lovely mansion from the street were repeated once we stepped inside. David has decorated the house with care and style. Our room on the 1st floor was lovely with an... Our stay at Morrill Mansion was complete luxury. Beautifully maintained brownstone style building greeted you curbside. We had one of the suites because that was all that was available (height of the leaf peeper season). The queen bed was comfortable, pillows of different varieties including memory foam, quality linens. The in-suite bathroom had all the amenities one could ask for,... More

We try to make it up to Portland every year, but this was the first time we stayed at the Morrill Mansion B&B. I don't think we'll ever stay anywhere else. Everything was fantastic. David is a wonderful host and thinks of everything necessary to make his guests comfortable and happy. We've visited Portland several times, so didn't need restaurant... More
