A warm and welcoming place. My wife and I stayed in the Marston room, immaculate and actually a good deal nicer and more tastefully decorated than it looks on the B&B's website. The breakfast space is a bit cramped but the breakfast itself generous. It is a walk of 20 minutes or so to the downtown harbor area through a... More

Absolutely lovely classic B & B. Scrupulously clean, tastefully decorated and beautifully presented. David, the owner and Innkeeper gave us a fantastic welcome after a difficult journey through the snow. This superb hospitality continued throughout our two night stay, with cookies, whoopie pies and excellent breakfasts. We just wish it was 3500 miles closer then we could go more often.... More

Stayed here the weekend of Thanksgiving 2013 and had an excellent time. The room was clean, spacious and as advertised. The host, Dave, was welcoming from the start and took time to hold a genuine conversation and answer questions about dining, shopping and other activities around the city as well as his personal favorites. The afternoon snacks were delicious and the... More

Our goal was shopping in Kittery and Freeport, so staying in Portland was the perfect home base. We stayed in the only suite on the first floor which was lovely. The parking was ample and easy, David was a lovely host who was very friendly, engaging, and informative. The food he prepared both mornings was delicious, warm, and plentiful. The... More

We stayed in the Burnham room which was really nice. Everything is really clean at the house has a lot of charm without being too old and stuffy. The Burnham room has a really nice tub with jets! It's a convenient location, you can walk to a lot of places from there and they have their own parking lot so... More

We stayed for three nights in October and have to say that this B&B was exceptional. The daily treats were to die for and the breakfasts were delicious. When arriving we informed David that we would not be having breakfast the last morning of our stay because of an early flight. The evening prior to our departure we found two... More

Morrill Mansion was a wonderful place to stay. We were sad that we only stayed one night but that was all our travels allowed for. David is an excellent host who is full of information on local dining establishments and an amazing cook himself. The room was spacious, well set up and had excellent facilities as well as a common... More

We have stayed in many B&Bs across the country, and we feel that Morrill Mansion is the best B&B we have stayed at. David is the perfect host, taking care of any of our needs far beyond what usually occurs at any B&B. There are home made hot bakery treats in the afternoon with an iced beverage (we were there... Stayed here 2 nights during my mini-moon. Room was spacious, clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and well done. David is a pleasant fellow and had great recommendations for dinner. We did dinner at the White Barn Inn (you can ask him where it is) to celebrate our special occasion. You have to go there. Excellent.... More

My boyfriend and I have stayed at Morrill Mansion twice now - September 2012 and June 2013. We talk about going back literally every week! This was my first B&B experience and it set the bar extremely high. The mansion itself is immaculate and so cozy. We stayed in two different rooms and they were both gorgeous - clean, inviting...
