By far the best hotel stay that I have had in while. It still has that new hotel smell. The room was clean. And I mean CLEAN! Even the fixtures and faucets were gleaming. Not a water spot. Not a finger print. It looked my house after I clean. Beds were plush and comfy. Thermostat was responsive. WiFi $10/day. Okay... More

I loved the old Eastland Park Hotel. It was threadbare and worn, but the staff was friendly, the rooms were functional, and the Top of the East lounge was a comfortable place to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner at one of the excellent local restaurants or have a nightcap. When I found out the the Eastland was closing... More

Gorgeous remodel to an older run down hotel - great improvement for the city! Room was small for two teenagers and two adults - even though it was only two nights. Wi-FI was an additional $10 per day and even though we are SPG members that fee was not waived and we all know Wi-Fi is a necessity for teens.... More

We were anxious to visit the renovated Eastland Hotel. Was Stunning! Room was spacious, harborview / 12 th floor. . Bed was heavenly as usual for Starwood! Uncomfortable seating however, and ? No makeup vanity or small snack table. Nice security...as needed key to get to floors. Top of the East lounge was beautiful and very comfortable. Excellent restaurant...waitstaff could... More

Beautiful restored Hotel. Interior decor well finished and very tasteful. I am a Starwood Gold member and was upgraded to a Suite.....one of the nicest rooms I have ever had the pleasure of being in. Great service. Highly recommend.

After a pretty bad stay on a business trip in Raleigh NC, the manager graciously gave me enough points for a one nights stay elsewhere. Fast forward to Portland ME, a great city. The points would not in fact buy one night, so I paid another $75.00. Fine. Then parking was another $24. Fine. Now wifi is $10. Enough! Breakfast... More

The elegant old Eastland is shivering in its timbers. The staff went over and above in their services to make me comfortable. The prices are high for the area and season but not unexpected. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom, lovely as well as functional. However, the air quality in the hallways was very poor. There was... More

An absolute pleasure as the staff took into account my entire family's needs: above and beyond...I strongly recommend to business and pleasure travelers who desire a refreshing change from the formulaic norm of hotels.

This is a brand new reno of an old tired, hotel in Portland, Maine. Its in a potentially up and coming part of town, and that was part of the reason for trying it. First the good - the staff seems really well trained, pleasant, professional and real. The design is typical clean, very W, visually well finished everywhere. Then... More

Thank you for your feeback. I'm sorry to hear you were dissapointed with the view from your room. Our Westin Heavenly Shower featrures a low flow rain fall shower head. This design is to help us reach our company goal of decreses our water usage by 20% by the year 2020. Thank you again for your feed back and for... More

I traveled to New York, Maine and Boston with my twin daughters to look at colleges. We stayed one night at the Westin in Portland with nothing on our agenda -just a day to recoup after NYC. The place was beautiful and the service was lovely. Our only regret was that we had to leave the rooftop bar and go... More
