Staff was superb and helpful sitting by the fire outside was relaxing; rooms were just right, comfy beds, lots of linens and a chocolate treat every night; location was fabulous, …..what more could a traveler ask in a getaway to Portland. I went with two female friends and we were delighted we made the choice to stay in this small,... More

This hotel gets a lot of great press, and deservedly so. It's in an ideal location for exploring Portland, has a lovely courtyard and the rooms are nice. But the staff is what makes this place exceptional. The concierges secured us two (relatively) last minutes dinner reservations at Fore Street and Street and Co., which was a downright miracle, and... More

We stayed here for two nights in April and the location of the hotel was great! You are walking distance from all of the local attractions, bars, shopping, and nice restaurants. The hotel is dog friendly however you cannot leave your dog in the room alone (kind of defeats the purpose, no?) I loved the decor and homey rooms -... More

Stay there for my daughter's wedding. Rooms are very clean and cozy. Nice bathrooms ,robe, slippers and all the small goodies in the bathroom. Coffee down the hall in AM .The outside garden area very pretty. The bar and dining area very friendly. .All in all they could not do enough for us.

We spent the night at this fine hotel the first week of May. It was clean, nicely furnished and the service was great. The breakfast on Sunday morning was very good and the server was very attentive. The only complaint was the street noise during the night. We were on the street side instead of the courtyard side and the... More

Personnel can be well-trained, but when they display a special and genuine feeling for others, they really shine! That is the case at the Portland Harbor Hotel. We were greeted warmly by TINA, when we arrived. She introduced us to REGGIE, who was able to answer all questions about the city, and he made dinner reservations at Petit Jacqueline. He... More

Enjoyed our stay here very much. Valet parking ($18) a night and a hotel in the middle of everything was perfect. You can walk to Commercial Ave in a matter of minutes, and the area is full of shops and dining options. The hotel is easy to spot while driving and has curb side appeal. Once inside there's a staircase/elevator... More

Staff from the valet to front desk to housekeeping was phenomenal. We felt so welcomed. Room was beautiful. But, if you want to sleep, the loud music at night from bars across the street will keep you up until very very late. Will request a quiet room next time.

Thank you fro providing your feedback regarding your recent stay with us and the Trip Advisor Community. Our well regarded Old Port location, offering our guests the convenience of walking to area shops and restaurants can indeed be noisy in the warmer months when the city gets into full gear. We apologize that your sleep was disturbed. Indeed, our garden... More

Very nice hotel, excellent location can walk to most everything we need to get to, room a tad small but lovely. We had a view of the inner courtyard which was quiet. Fresh coffee available in hallway each morning was great touch. Will stay here again next time we get back to Portland.

This hotel is very well located, close to everything. The concierge Reginald was very helpful to find good restaurants and attractions. The room was adequate and quiet. The price for the breakfast was very expensive so we decided to go elsewhere. Overall, this hotel was very good but a bit pricey.
