We were given a 2 night stay at the Portland Harbor Hotel as a wedding gift. We used the trip as a "mini-honeymoon". From the moment we were greeting by our Valet, ZAC STEARNS, we felt welcome. Zac handled our vehicle and luggage with care, promptness, and was extremely professional - with an infectious smile all the time. Our next... More

We were very well surprised by the qualty of the staff from the first moment we croosed the entrance. Valet parking very gently. Quick check-in. Exellent service at restaurant. Before dinner we got a drink and ordered meal at outdoor gas heating while hearing thousand of birds at sunset. Only negative thing was room (309) extremelly noisy. First was early... More

Our family of about 20 people were all staying at the PPH for a family wedding. The rooms were lovely with turn down every night with a chocolate lobster and a bottle of water. The food in EVE was wonderful and what was even more wonderful were the friendly people who worked at the check in , restaurant and most... More

Spent a night at this property on our way up to Maine in August. The pros: traditional spacious rooms, well-equipped baths, comfortable bed, very dog friendly, lovely garden, good location by the bustling harbor district, well-cooked breakfast. Con: expensive. Given, it was peak season, but almost $500 bucks a night all in felt like a rip-off.

LOVED this hotel!! When we arrived, with three kids in tow - check in was nice and welcoming. Due to a booking error on my part, they noticed us walking to our one king bedroom. Initially I was arriving the next day and had booked a king with a sofa bed, but had to change the day before. The staff... More

This was a great property from start to finish. From the bellboys on arrival , to the front desk and Reginald at the concierge the staff were brilliant from start to finish . (On a side note , everyone in Portland seems to be more friendly than the usual city/town , dont know why but everyone we came into contact... More

The Portland Harbor Hotel is a very nice, well kept boutique inn! The lobby is extremely clean and welcoming. As is the rest of the hotel. Lots of areas to sit and relax , inside and out. People make a place great, and everyone was so helpful and courteous, it made our stay very pleasant. The dining room is comfortable... More

We had originally planned on staying at another Old Port hotel for our first trip to Portland earlier this month – I’m so glad we ended up at the Portland Harbor Hotel. It’s on a quaint, safe feeling block with all the stores, restaurants and waterfront within a 5 to 10 minute walk. We had a garden/courtyard room that was... More

The hotel room we got was located in an annex. A very nice room. Service was great. Unfortunately breakfast was a challenge, very, very slow. The restaurant manager did apoligize. However it really never improved. The consierge Reginald was fantastic. Super helpful. The most fantastic area in the horel is the center patio. All in all we will stay there... More

We unfortunately made last minute reservations on what they call Campers Weekend which is the busiest week/weekend of the year in Portland. It's when the campers in Maine are either on their way home and getting picked up or their parents are coming to visit them on their halfway point of their stay. Either way, it is a week/weekend jammed... More

Dear Guest, We apologize that we were unable to meet your expectations during your recent visit with us. You are correct that Campers Weekend is a very busy time and a popular annual event that many of our returning guests reserve a year in advance. Although I am sorry that you experienced one of our smaller rooms, please know, as... More
